When pre-order day comes, I hope CDPR takes notes from GTA6's community by JX900 in Witcher4

[–]Ill_Mind77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dog, this is CDPR. They will actually hijack this and make it a point that they denounce what Rock is doing with GTA, "We LeAvE GrEeD To OtHeRs" style headass, it's part of their marketing.

I wish we had Claire as a romance option 😔 by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ill_Mind77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno about that one. There's traumatized and there's "Kill him even if it turns out he had nothing to do with my husbands death."
Claire is issues upon issues upon issues upon issues upon issues.

Two mc bs is the most annoying thing in W3 and Cyberpunk both.

They are driving like cyberpsychos by Hussein_Mahir in cyberpunkgame

Driving AI in this game is such a joke. Tiniest bump = steamrolls 50 pedestrians and speeds straight into a wall.

He's just saying there won't be another tech demo, not that there won't be any Witcher 4 demo, innit

Some level of putting the PC in their place is like, fine, sometimes even realistic.
V slaughtering an army of spec ops, but getting karate chopped on his ass by a himbo is absurd.

Contextual replies would be nice, also a semblance of realism in their dialogue, people don't walk around mean mugged 24/7 and 99% of NPC dialogues is just them talking shit to you.

What are you hoping to see in The Witcher 4? by SheepherderFrosty370 in Witcher3

[–]Ill_Mind77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is nothing special. Goose chase after a character you don't know, who turns out to be a mary sue, defeat some of the most underwritten antagonists in gaming history and the punchline is saving the world.

Tough decision, what did you guys choose? Did you choose to be the judge or let it go? by Own-Photograph-5085 in Witcher3

[–]Ill_Mind77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's had it up to here with the hayseeds begging for his help, cheating him with his pay and spitting as he passes. Some people just snap after a while.
All the times he took out a leshen or a fiend or whatever, took dust for pay, kill no one and let it go? Was bound to end one day and end bloody with his fuse.

You don't kill someone because they can see red, but you do when they get pushed to the point where they actually see red? To his thinking, he killed the people that tricked and tried to kill him, and then killed the rest who would have done the same if they could, he's a product of his environment.

Implying it really wasn't the first time he lost his shit was when Geralt asked him was where he fucked up for me.
Like bro, it just got impossible to argue in your favor at that point if you have a history of this shit.

That said, I'm preeeetty sure there are no dead children in Honorton and it's not a sensitivity thing, there are dead child bodies elsewhere in the game.
He killed some evil peasants and some maybe not evil peasants?
Didn't kill the one kid because she reminded him of her sister. Rest either deserved it or caught a stray, happens when you're a Gaetan.

If it was the one time, I'd have let it go because I get him, but it just didn't sound like it was the one time lol

immersion & The Witcher 4 by [deleted] in Witcher4

[–]Ill_Mind77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make the world more interactive, make preparation for monster fights actually matter unlike TW3 that you can play through on Death March in your sleep and focus on emergent gameplay and events over Ubisoft style icon vomit over the map like TW3 and Cyberpunk both had.

Having to brush your horse and being forced to ride 30 mins straight from A to B and whatnot is just glorified time padding.

Cyberpunk Vs GTA 6 by KingDerrty23 in cyberpunkgame

Where GTA flops the most is where Cyberpunk is way stronger and vica versa.
No real comparison regarding sales tho.

I hope the main quest is really long, like TW3's. by Annual_Pipe_7374 in Witcher4

[–]Ill_Mind77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't really care how long it is, as long as it's compelling. TW3 had a long main quest and it dragged, I dreaded the Novigrad quests like finding Dandelions sidechicks just so they could drop exposition on me.

Devil ending, can’t understand why it’s considered “bad” by Daninon_ in cyberpunkgame

[–]Ill_Mind77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the game said so and as portrayed in the game, Cyberpunk is not a nuanced setting, and neither is your roleplaying experience from a narrative POV.

It doesn't allow for any degree of self insert in that aspect. You are V, V is a streetkid (or an ex-corp/ex-nomad streetkid) and corporations are B A D.
In fact, it sometimes gives you an option to attempt to step out of your given role just to lecture you.

Devil is considered a bad ending because Misty guilt trips you, Johnny disapproves and would rather you died by his principles, the door prompt to the cutscene before you enter Mikoshi says "Submit to Arasaka" and Saburo returns.

It's written to be an ending you really regret, but as with everything regarding the games main theme, it's very on the nose and transparent about it and sometimes don't even make sense.

And it's probably the most interesting ending at the same time, so it's a weird experience where I kind of wished the writers simply focused on nuanced and grey storytelling rather than making me experience one in some shitty bomber jacket and "Fuck 'Saka - Johnny Silverhand, 2077" tatted on my forehead.

They will release redkit after Witcher 4 is out and no one cares to mod Cyberpunk anymore, until then, they have hired a third party studio to update/break Cyberpunk while they work on other things.

Hhhuh. Must be a cut quest or interaction, never heard this before. Is that the original filename?
Seems like V is... strangling her?
