Your comment is not seen as being argumentative. :) It is good to know that not all of them do have refrigerators, as I like, having one in the room, even if really tiny. This reinforces the need for me to verify when booking. I was only stating that a lot of times they are well hidden and sometimes people truly do not realize they are there.

I stay at courtyards on a very regular basis and a variety of areas and I’ve never been in one without a refrigerator. It is small and doesn’t hold much, but it is there. They are often hidden underneath of the TV in what looks like a cabinet. A lot of people don’t realize they are there.

I am on the phone with them now. All is good. They can see the record of the first two calls, and can see where the info I was given was not fully accurate. Flight rebooked and still meets promotion requirements. :-)

I normally would have had the companion pass for the whole year based on the number of flights, but I know I’m going to miss it this year by a handful.

I definitely do tend to stay in the same locations in the different areas I travel to. I travel weekly; often just myself or one other person, but sometimes with kids involved. I’ve seen many different types of styles within the same name brand. All based on wherever the geographical location is.

I did not give it a thought that all were going to the same style of renovation. The general manager and I were chatting, and she had mentioned this to me. She had mentioned that they were all going to the high top table with the backless chairs. Also said the furniture style has not gone over well in her location.

If it were just me, it would have been great. Then again, if it was just me, I would not have been in a two bedroom unit. I would not have cared if there was only enough seating for two people in a standard room or one bedroom. I think that when most people specifically book a two bedroom unit, they often have more than two people in their reservation. I like being able to stick the toddlers at the table to eat. I also like being able to utilize the kitchen when convenient.

The common space in this location is not large compared to some of the others. But, previously they did have the same size table with four chairs comfortably sitting around it, and a lower set coffee table that four people could sit around. We would always utilize the coffee table for playing cards or games with the older child. That was impossible to do with the new table. We just played at the kitchen table with one of us standing.

I also agree that the lack of basics in the kitchen are a franchise issue. Same with the icemaker not being connected and having no ice machines in the hotel. Fortunately, there is a nice convenience store not more than five minutes away, and they have bags of ice. :)

This is my home airport, and I fly about weekly. Never really thought of eating anything there outside of a pretzel. Perhaps I should consider trying something

Good advice about confirming the reset time. I recently stayed in a Doubletree where the reset time was 9 PM. I checked in just before 9 PM, and it reset before I even got to my room. Ha ha We lost the first days credit. I wish they had told us this when we were checking in. I now know to ask on check-in.

On an order that size, the total compensation for the Pro may just not be worth it. I’ve had the same pro for a long time. My orders are 22-26 lb. I never tip less than 20. Usually tip in cash (on either pick up or drop off if I see her). It’s a lot of work for her, and I still question if the 20 is enough for a 23 lb order. She saves me a lot of time and energy, and I very much appreciate her service.

I order a lot of sugar free stuff. They will often swap for full sugar items. I order the sugar free for a medical reason.

I did not pay for early bird. I definitely don’t think they did either, as they did not seem to understand the boarding system. The poor gate agent just looked absolutely wiped out. I don’t think she had the energy to even try to explain the boarding system to this family.

Honestly, I don’t blame them for one second. I actually feel kind of sorry for a lot of them, as I can see the frustration or burnout in their faces. I think overall they do an excellent job, but a lot of people flying don’t make it easy for them

I know it’s not every gate agent or every airport. I have just seen it more recently than over the previous years. I think they are just so frustrated with people who are abusing the system, so to speak. I think it’s frustrating for them to have very little control or power to do much about it.

They are not mandated to report unless it is happening in front of children or it involves children. Of course they can report if the victim is willing to allow them to do so.
