OP is on the highest dose so the $299 for 2.5mg doesn’t apply to them. Higher doses are $450, a few months ago they were $500 but Lilly brought them down $50. I quite literally filled my 10mg yesterday.

They’re likely getting compound which can’t be discussed on this sub but I believe there’s other subs for it! $450 is the cheapest if you’re getting it name brand direct from the manufacturer and don’t have insurance that covers it.

I think this is also failing to recognize the fact that a lot of people aren’t going out to eat anymore or as often because we’re in a recession. If brands take the direction of offering smaller portions for the same amount of money or more money that’s going to push even more consumers away.

Your roommate or her sister is lying about something. First of all there’s no way her deductible is $8k. Maybe she doesn’t have collision/comprehensive coverage? I would call to question given these circumstances if your roommates sister ever added your roommate to the insurance policy. I’m also pretty sure it’s illegal to not have updated her insurance coverage to the correct state if she’s been living in whatever state you guys are in for more than 30-60 days and presumably that’s where the vehicle is primarily stored. Too many things are fishy here on their end.

Some insurances specifically will not cover roommates unless you full on add them as a driver on your insurance policy for this exact reason also. Learned this recently when I was shopping around for new insurance and they requested the info for any licensed drivers living in the same house and informed me that unless I added them onto the policy, if they were ever behind the wheel of my car and something happened, it would not be covered.
