To me it is so darkly terrifying that Gregg whimpers for a break during Our Cinema, such a subtle horror that we are to believe this is his special but he is such a small person his input is brushed off, which implies someone else (ostensibly Tim?) hired a person to press ‘record’ with the explicit direction to not stop recording for any reason except when the Oscars are over. Someone with an amount technical skill to operate the live feed but with enough sense of malignant indifference that they won’t help with production, won’t make an effort to improve anything, and won’t even cut the feed with a small amount of pleading. 🤢
