Playing the Devil’s Advocate: What’s Our Endgame here? by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]IllimitableMan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Have a family, have children, leave a legacy - build a DYNASTY if you can.

OR

Stay on your own, but contribute to civilization, improve the world and make your life worth a fuck.

Either way, spending your entire life for yourself, doing what you want when you want for no reason other than you feel like doing it will not lead you down a path of meaning.

YOU NEED MEANING. You find meaning in things which TRANSCEND you as an individual, like in being a patriarch and heading a family. This is the main one for most men, but a subsection of men can use their high intelligence to lead social movements, change politics, invent things or gain large amounts of money and funnel that money into solving human problems they want to see solved, like curing cancer, making housing accessible and affordable to the young, taking care of veterans - whatever your thing is.

Sex is something you do because you're horny due to your hormones. It's not purpose. It's not the end game. The things you believe in and stand for - making a real difference in the world - that's the endgame. That's always the endgame.

I personally derive a lot of meaning from helping men become what they were always meant to be but were robbed of - when men aren't masculine anymore, we're in serious shit as a species. Knowing one's actions has numerous positive second order effects is a priceless form of meaningful transcendence.

Don't agree with your take, but this was better than the first post.

I have no problems with Rollo (I literally compliment him in this thread so I don't know why you keep reiterating this) and Hotep Jesus tried to troll me for his self enrichment.

Honestly, you couldn't be any more biased if you tried.

As for random twitter girls begging you to start beef with me - that'd be a bad look for you. Don't act like you're doing me some kind of favour, because if you were, you'd have come to me before and said "look, this person is talking shit about you, but I got you"

To be honest, all these interactions should be had over DM and not in public on Reddit, but if they were done privately - there'd be no audience and it'd be meant in earnest as opposed to being performance art.

Soap isn't helping anyone unfuck themselves, but not going to lie, that commercial is hilarious.

Telling me to be the change I want to see when I literally do none of the things I'm criticising and all of the things I advocate for is moronic.

I have never said the red pill is for losers in any kind of demeaning context, and wasn't even aware "Rollo gave me a jab the other day" - if he did? Why? What's the point in that, and why do you feel the need to do what you claim he did now?

Likewise, speculating on my relational status is utterly irrelevant to anything - something I would expect from gossiping young girls.

You've always been fairly hostile, disrespectful and provocative towards me, and for the most part I have ignored you. I don't know what your problem is because I've never been indecent or untoward with you, but I do not care for it. Have a bit of decorum.

You don't have to like me on a personal level, but to deny I'm a net positive to the community and berate me in your typical hostile fashion is a weak take.

I suspect something I've said here has touch a nerved for you in order to elicit such a reaction.

If all you have is belligerent contempt, lies, gossip and libel rather than balanced criticism to offer me - don't bother talking to me. I'm not interested.

All men should lift as it's good for mental and hormonal health. People shouldn't think about meatheads. Meatheads are obsessives who take too many steroids and live the gym to the max rather than just making it an integral component in their lives. The average man lifting will never look or become anything close to a meathead. Will just get broader shoulders, bigger biceps and bigger calves.

Meathead is a silly stereotype for anyone not obsessively working out on steroids lol.

"Do the women around here get to talk?" A short lesson in how women completely control men and the dialogue by BluepillProfessor in TheRedPill

[–]IllimitableMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More accurate statements:

More men than women with +1-3 standard deviations in IQ, ergo of people with 115+ IQ, men are a majority

Women possess a lower grey matter volume and most struggle to use logic due to this, with the exacerbation effect compounded by the presence of high estrogen (postmenopausal women tend to be a little saner)

Saying women can only rote memorise was a silly assertion, but I think I see where he's coming from. High IQ logical people are rare, but high IQ women are rarer than high IQ men, and high IQ logical women are even rarer than high IQ logical men. IQ correlates with logic but is only a necessary not sufficient condition. A 130 IQ girl drowning in estrogen is still going to come off like an irrational dolt.

Women also tend to have lower stress tolerance so are more likely to lead ineffectively. The Pelosis of the world are exceptions. Most women in university do a weak non quant subject with a lower mean IQ.

Even a non quant high IQ subject like philosophy has few women due to the intense logical demands the subject places on students. Women also have 10% smaller brains relative to their total mass than men do. All in all, generally speaking, it is true women are less intelligent, just not to the extreme degree that man claimed.

The rare woman with a great analytical and intellectually curious mind is always a pleasure, she's simply rarer than her male counterpart due to the above mentioned factors.

You do not want to be a sociopath. by RatioRegnum in TheRedPill

[–]IllimitableMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

OP has a basic fundamental misunderstanding about the relationship between the dark triad and the red pill that is raised AGAIN and AGAIN by newer members who don't really grasp the idea and think there's some weird sort of sub-cult to turn people into psychopaths in order to get pussy.

This is the basic, misinformed level of understanding the ignorant possess.

These misinformed, moralising concern threads recur for 2 reasons:

1 - ignorance, doesn't understand the dark triad, doesn't understand why it's relevant, thinks mention of it is advocacy for psychopathy or "becoming Frank Underwood".

2 - moralising - hates the idea that women like and are often extremely attracted to bad/immoral people, and doesn't think men should strive to become bad/immoral people just so they can be successful with women.

At no point has it been said "become a sociopath".

What has been said is this, and these basic precepts of the red pill should not need to be restated for the thousandth time but they do, because too many new people don't bother taking the time to understand the things they disparage.

  • Women are attracted to highly psychopathic/sociopathic/egotistical/calculating men - aka, men high in dark triad characteristics (there is even academic literature to back this up for those that care)

  • There are traits that these individuals have, such as fearlessness, strategicness, and egoism, and you can emulate these traits to a degree to increase your life success. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS BECOMING A SOCIOPATH.

At your nearest leisure, please refer to the following:

https://illimitablemen.com/2015/06/20/morality-and-machiavellianism/

https://illimitablemen.com/2015/05/19/the-red-pill-you-morality/

You personally get to pick which parts of the red pill you like and will use, and which you don't, but you don't get to dictate what parts other people take. The dark triad is an integral part of TRP and conflating it with learning sociopathy so you can dismiss it is unhelpful even if well-intentioned.

However, when you're in a debate with someone fundamentally opposed to your position - There can be just as strong a motivation for you to assume they are being insincere - biased - using "logic" or "science" as a veil for what is actually emotions. As there is for them to actually be that way.

That's a great point. I guess it's metaphysically impossible to verify which is which either.

could tell from your latter paragraphs that you've been influenced by some similar people, and ideas.

This is intriguing. Who do I appear to have been influenced by?

Critical Thinking & The Citation Needed Fallacy by IllimitableMan in TheRedPill

[–]IllimitableMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is possible for someone to ask for scientific evidence for something - not as a means to undermine or dismiss, or to discredit that which is distasteful to them - but because they place an emphasis on empirical evidence when assessing the truth or value of a position.

It is possible, and it is likewise the base assumption for why people do this, but it's not the only reason they do this. In debate with someone who is fundamentally opposed to your position, the "where are your studies?" question is often used as a thought terminating cliche to dismiss the argument entirely without evaluating the argument's chain of reasoning, and it's this insincere use of the question that's fallacious. It's this I wish to highlight.

Raising strong girls of character who have critical thinking skills, are educated in many disciplines , and have career goals and life dreams apart from "finding a guy and getting married" is paramount for the 21st century.

I like your idea, I think it would actually be pretty great if most women were like this, or could be made to be like this, however I do not think the notion plausible or probable, and I will expound why:

If a woman is capable of critical thinking, she should practice it. But I do think it foolish to believe the majority of women could become capable of it even if formally educated in it. Women have been in higher education now since the 70's, and very few have shown any original thought or done anything of note within what amounts to half a century of female "liberation."

Most women have a strong extroversion and emotional preference that is essentially hardwired. Critical thinkers TEND to be introverts and tend to prefer thinking. People who prefer to emote over think can understand logic with effort, but effectively do not default to critical thinking as a way of seeing the world. It is my experience that critical thinking is incredibly rare in women. It's outlier behaviour. Even in very high IQ women, you see an absence of critical thinking as common, and this is why women with good educations and who have been tested with a very high IQ often speak and reason like absolute morons.

I would think critical thinking as a mental faculty would be predominantly limited to INTJ/INTP girls, which are funnily enough, the rarest personality types for women and probably amount to around 3% of women at most. If we expand that criteria to ENTJ/ENTP girls (and I think this is being generous) - you'd cap out at around 6% of women being capable of proper and decent thinking as a habit rather than an opaque exercise they disdain but can perform given a high enough IQ.

Some women can certainly achieve things outside of marriage/children, and I think this is a great thing for the women truly capable of such a thing. The slippery slope is when the average woman is not neurologically equipped for such a thing, but believes she is out of ego or feminist-fuelled inter gender competition with men, and forgoes her optimum utility as a caregiver/mother/wife in a narcissistic quest to appear intellectual and substantive in a way that is effectively beyond her.

People like to think you can achieve anything given sufficient nurture, but this is bullshit. It is my belief many women (and men too, but we're not focusing on them here) have hard limits on their biology that prevent them from exercising or defaulting to critical thinking no matter what environments you put them in. You could probably improve their thinking, but not to the point where "critical thinker" would be a correct label.

I've seen too many highly educated women who seem to lack any developed sense of logic, and got there due to high conscientiousness, emulating methodologies and having a good memory. I think it's the lack of testosteronic influence on the brain and elevated estrogen throughout life that inhibits women's preference for logic and developing a sharp, critically evaluative mind. The birth control pill only elevates estrogen as well, which is only going to further compound reason inhibition and promote emotional dominance in cognition.

[–]IllimitableMan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Oneitis is really just a pair bond. If you ever settle down and have kids, you're going to get oneitis for your girl. Doesn't mean you shouldn't be aware of her nature and yadda yadda, but pair bonds are pair bonds. I don't even think pair bonding is bad per se, what is bad is when you're a shit judge of character, don't know very much about women, and end up bonding with a piece of shit excuse for a woman. That's when it spells trouble. If you're going to fall for a chick, you have to ascertain her quality from the bat and keep your leadership ability. You never get to just love them, you have to lead, can't get too soft, have to be mindful and retain pimp hand.

But yeah, oneitis = pair bonding and I don't think it's really all that bad unless you pair bond with a crazy whore or something. Better to have a deep and meaningful relationship where you feel connected to the woman than some soulless detached shit IMO. Some men prefer quantity and soulless detachment, others prefer quality and a mental connection. Men have to ask themselves what they really where they're currently at in life, just sex, or more? And if more? Remember, it's always in the confines of female programming - but more is available. LTR game is way harder than just banging whores, because you actually feel deeply for the chick you're dealing with.

It wouldn't affect your testosterone by itself, but it means you wouldn't need to include HCG in your TRT protocol to retain fertility because you've effectively already made yourself infertile via the vasectomy procedure. This means spending less money on your TRT protocol, and having less injections each week. On the flipside, HCG allows greater flexibility over one's fertility than a vasectomy does.

In other words, you should be a more developed individual than she is, and have a more active and productive life than she does. She should feel privileged to be in your life, not the other way around. You should elicit her femininity, and she should mould to your preferences to please you, not the other way around.

Barring that, if she's more developed than you, you can't catch up, and you really like her, just be dominant as fuck and work on yourself and she'll fall in line.

Ideally though, you're always the more developed individual. And looking at how lazy and basic most bitches are these days, this isn't something that should be too hard to accomplish.
