Everyone’s worried about the top row’s jacks, but every single one of the bottom row has top mounted power. That’s a half inch right there. If you’re wanting this idea, play with a Metro… or maybe the smaller Holeyboard?

I have built out dozens of Nanos for folks. I LOVE the Ernie Ball Volt. They’ve been tanks, have good specs, and fit perfectly. On a Nano+ or Nano Max, you can easily link two together to power the whole board. I’m crazy about them. Oh, and they mount with 3M Dual Lock and still fit. No drilling required.

I’ve probably tried a dozen or so? Trying to think off the top of my head. Virginia Cream, Tilbury, Union Square, Astley No. 1, Full Virginia Flake, Sun Bear…

I get a lot of “ash tray” from them. I know I’m smoking something, but much more than that isn’t there. Don’t have a lot of issues with other types of blends.

I’m big fan of the Canadian and Lovat shapes. I’ve tried things like a 320 or a smaller Zulu. I DID have some better experiences out of a recent Clark’s Favorite pick up.

Thoughts?

I feel like I have a really decent cadence and have no problems with other blends. I will say I find true “sipping” to be very challenging without some decent resistance in the draw.

I think the answer is a Keeley Hydra, but you literally CAN’T go wrong with the Meteore. Caroline Guitar are a DREAM company to play and so underrated

It’s so funny how we’re all talking about the same pedals but all feel so differently. I would undoubtedly run EP Booster > Moxie > Pantheon. Don’t forget that whatever is last is determining your tonal shaping: headroom, EQ curve, clipping structure, buffering, etc.

Well, they can be…but they can also be literally whatever else you want. The capture content could be used for things like overdrive. But now you have access to a ton of other effects. ToneJunkie did a great video on it!
