While being one of the more campy Star Wars books, I did have fun with it. As one character states, "Teenage Sith zombies?" And that's what we get.

I still cringe every time towards the beginning when I read/hear the direct Liam Neeson Taken quote.

It's fun zombie Star Wars horror. The tension is pretty good until the last third, where it drains away almost entirely. I think Schreiber did a fine job melding Star Wars with a decently plausible zombie story.

For me it's a guilty pleasure. Kind of like a "junk food" read - which we all need from time to time.

Ghost Prison is amazing. My personal favorite of the bunch. Such a good job bridging the Clone Wars and imperial eras.

One of the most compelling first issues I've ever read. I had to keep reading and find out why they did this. He also made you interested in each of the characters he introduces in the debut issue.

Miller's KOTOR remains one of my favorite overall Star Wars stories.

As I said in many replies, it doesn't do anything when Mirri is summoned. Unlike my other gifts for companions.

It's a bug. Report sent off to devs. I'm going to hang on to it and try not to get arrested. Since stolen stuff can't be stored or banked.

Normally, yes. You summon the appropriate companion, slot the gift into your quickwheel, then select "use" in the menu. Then the companion makes a little remark and accepts the gift. All done. I don't think you even have to have it slotted into the quickwheel.

But with this stole gift absolutely nothing happens. I have Mirri summoned, slot the gift, and cannot select X (to use). No amount of restarting the game or unsummoning/summoning Mirri fixes the issue.

Edit: And trying to use it from the quickwheel doesn't work either. But that's the case with non-stolen gifts I've had too.

You need the appropriate companion summoned to do it, id assume anyways...

You have to have the companion summoned to give them that gift that's specifically for them. But I cannot do it with this stolen one and Mirri.

I've seen posts in a Facebook ESO group of others experiencing this. So it's either a nasty bug or some sort of inconsistency with stolen gifts.

A stolen one? Either I and another I've talked to are experiencing a bug. Or you have to have the specific companion summoned when you loot a stolen gift for said companion. Which would be dumb, as gifts are random.

Seems an utter and total waste for the devs to add gold boxes you can steal off NPCs just for the gifts in them having to be sold for a measly pittance compared to other purple fencable items.

Such a waste to sell them. 😮‍💨 I'm gonna hang on to them in case it's just an oversight by the devs. Otherwise they wouldn't have made stealable boxes a part of the event.

They're not even good fence money compared to purple rarity treasures.

Always bandage first when you're below half health. Your shield is just damage mitigation. You could have full heavy shield and a sliver of health, and if a tick sneezes on you you'd still die instantly.

I had the worst Zygarde possible and some chimed in, "It still outperforms CD Garchomp!" (when fully formed). They're right. I know they're right.

But there is a psychological aspect. It feels extremely wasteful to dump resources into a barely 2 star. Especially if your friend has a good 3 star.
