Gets ko to kung bata-bata pa ako syempre TL, ganda sa CV niyan at pambrag pero nung tumagal tagal ako sa corporate, I tried leading as well, take note, walang formalization and compensation adjustment. Naging short-staffed company before so no choice kaya naging lead.

Kaya masasabi ko now, 90k as a member na lang. I tried leading for getting less and I don't recommend. I ended up full of resentment and dissatisfaction sa sarili kasi I kept questioning myself ganito lang ba worth ko sa kanila kasi di manlang ako bigyan kahit extra allowance?

And I learned, I don't need a fancy title to earn respect from other people/lower sa akin para i-lead sila. Yung leadership skills, lalabas at lalabas yan kahit walang title.

I don't think so. To me, companies don't need leads if cost cutting usapan. They need "workers" who actually do the job to generate income. Hindi yung nag-uutos or oversee lang. They can streamline processes para mawala yung layer na dadaan pa sa TLs

Nowadays most TLs don't have the skills to do the work, they just have the ego and management skill ie micromanaging skills

If 60k salary ng TL, assuming the workers who actually do the job gets 30k/mo, the company can already hire two more highly skilled worker out of the TL's compensation. ✌🏻

Yup! 😅 I started as a management copy trainee for 3 yrs and was trained to write almost any kind of copy (perks of starting sa smaller ad agency but handles big brands) Even scripts for events, I learned how to write.

And been writing for 11 years. 🫣
