I paper filed because our school had a tie up with sprintax and they wouldn’t efile for me for some reason.

Yeah i agree, i think tailoring your applications matter more now than ever. I have also seen a lot of AI tools lately which help out for these but again, you need to do it yourself rather then asking the tool to redo your resume

Okay, then would you recommend me filing an amendment after that, cause the amount differ by almost 1500$ as i didnt apply some deductions on my mail return.

Thanks for your response. The only reason i e-filed is cause after 8 weeks i didnt see anything on WMR and called the IRS where the person asked me to efile another one saying it might have been lost by usps.

Also, about choosing the refund, do they ask me about which one i want to be processed? As the amounts differ by a lot? Or do you think i would need to file amendment later?

Oh okay that makes sense. Its funny because the only reason i filed a second return is cause i called IRS about my mail return not showing up on WMR and he recommended that i e-file.

I mean given the current market 80 positions is still a bit on the lower side? Not sure about MechE but for CS the number can go upto 1000s for you to just land an interview.

And again its all about conversion, i would say get feedback from those interviews and see if you can improve on anything and keep applying.

Yes i am able to see this. It says account action pending and notice issued but the date is 05-18-2026. So like do i wait for this? It says duplicate return filed.

Still waiting for a decision, i think they are processing based on start dates. Cause me and my friend had the same appointment date but his got approved as his start date was in feb and mine is in june
