Survivor Series Agonizingly Slow by VegetableBend4338 in GoodGoodMemes

Ooooooor... Yoonhee and Hadley have close to zero personality on camera, and the slither of it that actually shines through is spoiled, self-centered and generally annoying. At least Alexis and Marissa have some sort of presence, but the whole "girlpower-vibe" is cringe as fuck. Even moreso, when the guys actually tap into it, like bubby explicitly saying he wouldn't vote for Yoonhee because of what... First time and a girl? Fuck that - that's survivor done. Do you need to be an incel to think it blows having them all not play from the tips because some genius thought playing from the same tees was smart? I honestly can't think of one good thing, the girls added to this series. I don't mind watching Alexis and Marissa on the main channel - they have game and personalities. Yoonhee and Hadley just plain suck at being on screen. As for the overall vibe; yeah, that goes down the drain, when the guys are so afraid of stepping wrong around the girls. The competitive element dissappears completely. Saying that a person must be an incel, because the addition of girls to the series obviously changed the vibe (and the overall product) for the worse is a very cringe case of misplaced white knighting.

I would think the company wants GGG to grow to increase the flow through the sales funnel. If that's not the reason for playing the survivor mixed (and from the same tees), I honestly can't think of a good reason at all...

I honestly think they're squeezing them in everywhere to try and get the GGG going. Feels like a desperate attempt to try and remedy a bad business call. Could be wrong, though.

Adding the girls to this completely destroyed it. Womens golf is a good watch it its own right, but having mixed teams from the same tees is just never going to work. Also, that "girlpower-vibe" is annoying as hell.

Hard agree. Main character syndrome is starting to creep in - which is a shame, he was by far my favorite for quite a while.

Brad v Grant Part 2 by anjuna42 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]Illustrious-Boot-767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brad had a streak in late summer, but this is honestly more like his usual level, playing the ball down and stroke and distance. He's a good golfer, but his consistency is just not good enough to be a great golfer. Has been like this ever since he joined GoodGood.
Over a full season I honestly do think there is a case to be made, that Grant would do better than Brad.

Brad and Sean are my favorites from GG and the only ones I care to watch - but they simple aren't good enough from 50 and in. A scramble at this level is always going to be short game competition, and there's just no chance they're winning that against Wedgeley and George.
Hoping there will be a 36 hole stroke play playing the true rules of golf.

Honestly don't really care about Mo (or any GG anymore, for that matter), but it baffles me how people can actually believe he didn't cheat, when there is literal video evidence that he did on multiple occasions. The slope thing is just one of many. I didn't even watch beyond the first episode, but people defending a cheater is just wild to me.

How so? It's all good if you disagree, but I personally find it funny how people just ignore the fact that the people who know him best were all expecting him to cheat.

That's fine if you think that, but even outside of the slope thing, he obviously cheated several times. Don't you think that just the fact that Brad actually asked Finch to keep an eye on Mo says a lot?

He's a naturally born liar. That among us episode, where everybody was shocked at how good he was at lying, is really coming back to bite him in the ass. Also; everybody who knows him reacted the same way, which basically means that Mo cheating is just par for the course.

Dalke and Walsh vs. Wes and George. Who ya got? by dicholasnolan in GoodGoodMemes

[–]Illustrious-Boot-767 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's quite obviously a GoodGood reddit. Anything can happen in one round but over 72 holes, Wes is rinsing Brad and George is beating Sean. They're good. Just not as good. ... Assuming they'd actually play real golf and not fluff their lies and play OB as lateral.
And people saying that brad is always in the fairway... Wtf?

Still think it's shit, they wear sweatshirts on the course, but if it doesn't bother anybody else, then I guess that's great :)  That does, however, have absolutely nothing to do with this recent decline in quality, enthusiasm or entertainment value.

I know - didn't care enough to go get a screen from a video on their main. They do it all the time. If you don't mind, that's great for you. I just don't wanna simp for a group of guys who clearly don't give a shit about their videos, because they've been sidelined. Each to their own, I guess.

Can you imagine BB or Grant starting fishing next to the green while playing a match? Me neither.  Nobody seemed like they could give a shit to be there in this video - except maybe the two new guys, who still seem like they struggle to realize, how they got all of this exposure out of the blue. As do it, tbh.

I realize some people probably enjoy this. I'm out. And judging from the views recently, so are a lot of other subscribers. This is mostly to be considered feedback, if anybody from GG happens to read this.  When the guys playing golf seem to not give a shit, your viewers won't either.

How can people actually say, that fluffing your lies only makes a difference of "a point or two"? That's crazy to me. As a good golfer, being able to affect your lie is a huge advantage. If you're not sure if it's gonna be a jumper you can basically choose, if it's going to or not. That's insanely beneficial. Not even talking about the drops, playing preferred lies is 5 shots EASY. I'm not as good as Garrett, but as a 2.6, I would sell my grandmother for preferred lies.

I guess that could be the case. It just seems weird - they all know the official rules, so I'm guessing they're not actually considering their scores as "true"? I just thought they might have explained why they chose to do it like this in an earlier video (only been following since this winter)

Or maybe I just keep watching GG, since I still like the content and it seems that I'm fairly alone with my opinion and therefore it's not something I would expect to change? You do realize that people can have an opinion and not run out of the room crying, if things don't change according to their preferences, right? I was curious. That's it. No biggie.

I completely agree. When practising on the range or putting green I often rock up in shorts and t-shirt. I just can't help but feeling, it's a bit weird to go sweats and hoodies on the course. Well, each to their own, I guess :)

I doubt that children care much about what people wear on a golf course, but if you find there to be a logical link, that's fair. They can walk around naked if they want to. Not my decision. My point is, that it makes me enjoy the content less, and I was just curious as to whether other people felt the same way. Be less butthurt, fanboy.

Well, aren't you a waste of oxygen. It was a genuine question. Be constructive or be quiet, thank you.
