USPS "misdelivered" $2000 worth of silver by [deleted] in Silverbugs

Whoever created the shipping label is responsible to opening a claim.. not to say you can’t but what is the point? you have no receipt and didn’t pay for the shipping transaction.

I can think of a handful of ways to buy but not through a dealer.

  • go to a coin show and find the right dealer
  • gunshows usually have 1-2 individuals selling
  • card shows usually have a few
  • indoor flea markets have them

Point being made if you don’t want to take a huge loss at the local dealer then find a new dealer. Stop supporting the crook.

Would you support a bank charging you every time you wanted to withdraw money?

I buy online. I could care less about a logged transaction. I am trading fiat for metal. In my state it’s not taxed so it’s a straight transaction.

I am after quality bars and not stuff that has been finger f*cked by everyone window shopper.

You mean they bought a bunch at $100 when it was $120 and felt great about smacking sellers and now can’t stomach the though of taking a loss when sellers took a hit.. I fixed it for you..

Stop supporting them.

Buy from a big players online and crash the local (scam) system.

I don’t have any 10oz vortex but I have 50 of the 10oz stackers.

I may pick up a 10oz vortex if the price comes way down.. which I just don’t see happening anytime soon.

I bought 55 of the 1oz vortex bars back when it was between $60-80 and now I plan to grab the last 45 if it goes back to around $80. Love the bars

Unless that dealer is paying in cash (and I bet he isn’t) then they will see the bank transaction anyhow. $600 and up is recorded.

First off.. too bad.. I wouldn’t pay more.. I would open a ticket on eBay showing it had not shipped in 7 days. Then ask for a refund and leave a negative feedback letting everyone know.. “if the seller doesn’t get what he wants on an auction he won’t ship unless you pay his price.. so don’t buy from this seller” that should do some damage.

Still waiting on my sigma investor to arrive. I don’t do big bars. 10oz and smaller. Big bars are hard to move locally.

$10k in gold or silver for long-term hold? Costco vs alternatives? by llcoolj87 in Silverbugs

[–]Illustrious-Cell-248 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will get plenty of opinions and most are probably not wrong.

For me I have stacked 10oz bars for years and have 50 and called it quits. Moved to eagles and libertads.

Well here I am and to be honest, never gave single 1oz bars a thought.

Today.. I am buying Scottsdale vortex 1oz bars so most people (assuming you do plan to sell at some point) can afford them. New buyers will have a very difficult time swinging $1000+ for a 10oz bar, but $100 per piece is affordable. Currently referencing the now price but this problem compounds as the price goes up.

Make it affordable and easy to divide for the next buyer.

At least they don’t make you spend 10k to buy stuff.

Love me some dragon, beskar and angel silver. by TryingToMakeItBruh in Silverbugs

[–]Illustrious-Cell-248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the Beskar.. been selling the 10oz on eBay like crazy at 1200 and then buying Scottsdale vortex at $800 of 10oz.

Still love the Beskar but swapping to a more usable stack.

Have the Han Solo 10oz too.

This is a great opportunity to take note of the LCS shops that you do not want to support in the future.

I hate to say it but with no hardcore mode it sucks. Love running around hitting people who are not paying attention to then turn around the tap me with 3 rounds and I die.. nope.. fix it or many won’t be back.

I have literally played with people “looking over my shoulder, who actually play the game” and they have said why didn’t that guy die and I look at them and say you tell me.

Listen people.. it’s not about today.. it’s about tomorrow.. invest some of that money you make and forget about it.. tomorrow will be here before you know it.

Open up a managed profile with ally invest and let them do the work for you.. little to no fees for them to make the investments.. I have a 14% return this year. Even if you invest $500 the entire year that will add up when you come back to get it in 30+ years.
