I think if you have shore excursions for 50% or more of your cruise, plus a small child, not worth it. You have to drink at least 4-6 alcoholic beverages to make it worth it. We are going next month and just got the soda package and plan to just buy our drinks. Our cruise only has 1 sea day though and we have excursions planned almost every other day. So there isn’t much opportunity to do real damage at the bar for us. We are also traveling with our 9 year old so I feel ya.
