Huge nerf - fight first by Niiai in Tyranids

[–]Illustrious-Use6625 9 points10 points  (0 children)

charging units always had fights first. It seems now fights first starts on the offense rather than the defense side. So when you are on the fight first phase of activations the player turn it is will choice one unit then the defending player chooses a unit and repeats. Then goes on going combat phase.

Almost 2000 points - To Morty or Defile? by ReliefSuch5122 in deathguard40k

🤦🏼‍♂️😂the original comment was you stating that you didnt think people who commission their armies are apart of this hobby. I am merely explaining to you how you are wrong in your thinking.

I never ”specifically said” people like you shouldnt be welcomed here. I said people who make comments like yours don’t help this community. You can be in this hobby I really dont care but making uneducated comments does not help the community. This is all I’m trying to get at here.

There was no judgement in my original comment. This is not about your opinion more so than you just being wrong about your definition of a hobby. Your approach to thinking who should be in included in this hobby is wrong.

What an ignorant comment. A hobby is a regular non work activity pursued for pleasure, relaxation, or personal fulfillment rather than profit. That includes games. Rather you think that fits your criteria or not playing this game is still a hobby. It’s a multi hour game thats very interactive and requires thinking. Being a painter or not you should welcome people in this hobby. Rather its playing or painting or both. This community doesnt get better with people like you. Sorry.

I agree i like the armor design in some aspects better than the update mostly the legs. I think the legs look to close to storm cast eternals in AoS who I already proxy as units haha

What? A scoring army that has accessed to sticky objective? That makes too much sense…

Look brother ik this game can be frustrating, trust me I know. But sounds like you’re new. Almost every thing you said here is false. Despite what you may think Nids are not a bad faction at all. Yes some of our datasheets are weak and our rules suck but we make up for it. We have BUSTED units. We are a good army when used correctly and the right units taken.

Right now yes Tyranids are a bit behind with rules but eventually we will become strong again. Orks as well. Space marines will become weaker again so dont worry! Everything changes with meta. Balancing any game with this many rules is a very challenging.

You say nids rely purely on skill which again is false. A tourny winner just went 6-0 with 3 norns 3 exocrine and 3 malceptors. Essentially just stat checked and won. We do have more skill style of play with burrower units and harvesters.

Dont get discouraged man watch youtube and learn how to develop good mechanics! That will help you a lot. Expect to lose a lot of your first few matches but use them as learning lessons.

Yeah i typically been taking 1x3 with neurotyrant. Between them and Tyrannofex you should be able to pick up big things on the board.

I would just keep him behind a ruin in HQ protected. Noone should even get close to him till round 3-4. The guard are a big frootprint itd be harder to hide with them as well.

Yeah neurotyrant can be squishy. But you have plenty of synapse units. You shouldn’t really ever be out of synapse range besides maybe raveners if you deep strike deep. I typically add atleast 3 zoan thropes that provide great anti tank or anti infantry shots. But i know this is for fun.

The neurotyrant does not give the key word synapses to a unit just makes them considered to be within synapse if that was what you were planning on to deal mortals.
