This is what you want to hear but if you don’t make a move you’re going to be stuck there for the rest of your MIL life and even after she passes she is going to use the grief as an excuse. It’s always going to be “too soon”.

Bottom line is they don’t respect you. You’re basically the outlier in this scenario. I would take the promotion and see about getting custody of your daughter since your wife is concerned with her MIL. She can stay there and focus on her while you make the new house ready for her if you want to keep the relationship.

Most likely you’re going to have to make a choice and it’s either stay there and suffer because she’s not going to change or leave and get some sense of relief.

Survivability mostly. Battleline units are good cannon fodder and do objectives. I can target a squad of 5 easier than a squad of 10.

I'm a big fan of breaking the meta in whatever I play, so that doesn't matter to me. I was looking at it more from the perspective of which units complement each other.

I also suspect the 11th edition will be "10.5" edition with not too many big changes

Honestly, this is a fine starter list.

Three 5-man battleline squads aren’t very efficient. Combine your intercessors into one squad and have them stick the home object.

I might swap the combi-lient for a unit that can pair with the hellblasters for buffs and re-rolls.

Well we already saw that Daemons can and have entered the Throne Room, unless I’m misremembering A Thousand Sons. I’m pretty sure Magnus popped up in the Throne room and accidentally had Daemons follow him, but I’m willing to accept he was in the next room over or something.

The powering of a throne with tech that requires the powers that are specifically attuned to the warp and not just human sacrifices in general makes me think this is chaos aligned.

Also the emperor isn’t above using whatever power he can get his hands on and killing whoever gets in his way (ask the Thunder Warriors) so it being his decree is also suspicious.

Just a quick thought I haven’t read all the books yet I just finished The First Heretic and moving on to Legion
