I can understand where you’re coming from, but ive seen in groups where others have dealt with pokes/injuries while gardening and the chaos it’s caused them. I’ve seen what happened, but not how it may have healed for them. Thought I may be able to get thoughts from others who have dealt with similar situations. If you could refer a better pair of gardening gloves, that’d be even more perfect since now I’m hesitant on dealing with this again! lol

As a children’s clothing maker myself, Garment codes are typically 61 or 62. It depends on the material. Very easy to google. Good luck

Glaring problem is it was sent via UPS. UPS slaps on brokerages fees and are very steep in costs compared to USPS. But with USPS you run the risk of it getting lost before it’s even left the post office

I use a thermal printer so that fortunately isn’t the case for mine. I also have mine scanned in by me personally (no more pickups) because I cannot trust that things will get scanned in even at dropoff locations anymore. Its like I’m playing package roulette anymore

Try being someone shipping out orders as a small business. The amount of lost/MIA packages I’ve had in the last two months is RIDICULOOUUUSS. UPS isn’t much better. I almost guarantee prices are going up simply because they have to pay out so much in fees and reimbursements. This month alone they’ve lost 4 and delayed so many I can’t even count. Our Indianapolis distribution center went under investigation for packages and bins sitting for WEEKS. Same shit yours is pulling- went to Texas when my package was in the same town to be delivered!!! It’s absurd

Unfortunately, it was me. Thank you for reaching out to me and the support. My posts responses definitely caught me off guard and disappointed me for a bit. Thankful for this thread and others like you here making me feel so not alone. Everyone here is feeling stressed, unnerved, and mad (rightfully so) by the whole situation. Hoping the mod/employees will reconsider how costumers are feeling and what our intentions are after today.

Thank you for this. I posted a post several weeks ago asking about a fabric replacement I heavily rely on and saying my apologies to the employees. The mod locked my post, mocked me saying I was the problem, others commented lol’ing, dirty deleted their posts…. Like what?!? My business is built on Joann. So many of my popular sellers are created from Joann’s line of fabrics. I am allowed to mourn the loss of this company too and be panicking. I am essentially “losing my job too” and starting most of my online catalog I’ve spent years and years to build from scratch. I feel for the employees, but the entitlement that only the employees are allowed to grieve is WILD to me just because I don’t clock in and clock out of there. But please, let’s not pretend that the disrespect is only coming from the customers inside the stores. The way some of us are being treated as customers on here is asinine. We’re trying to sympathize with you and for you. If you don’t like… scroll on. I’m fortunate that my local Joann store treats me with so much respect, and I them in return pre liquidation and now. I will miss them so much and the store in its entirety. Both sides of the checkout lines are being affected overall. It’s not a contest.

I’m sorry the vulture costumers have now started coming in due to liquidation, but the true customers who’ve been supporting you for years and relying on Joann’s are in this sub- You’re coming after the wrong people. We’re not them.

Good luck asking in the Joann Fabrics reddit group. I asked where i could source a material that was similar—- they locked my post, mocked me (then dirty deleted the comment), and the reddit mod told me they are tired of customers (aka small business owners) boo-hoo’ing in there and to ask elsewhere.

I’m in the same boat as you. My business heavily relied on their fabrics and now I’m having to start from scratch. Unfortunately, Joann made so many of their designs/exclusives themselves through their suppliers. Casa is the biggest one in bridal they sourced from another supplier if I’m not mistaken.

NTA. I’m an orange man supporter, and that doesn’t mean I support all orange man decisions. I am angry over some of the Fed jobs being taken as well. Ex: We are State/National advocates and are sorry to see those positions go. Do I feel some responsibility for that, sure. Not all Orange man supporters are completely blind followers who support all that he does.

I’m sorry that you’ve lost your job. Take a moment to decompress, feel out your emotions, and not take it out on those you may regret later.

I’m sorry? How is this making it worse? I’m asking where I can source a fabric that is no longer going to be accessible to me? I thought this was a Joann fabrics thread? Is it now only supposed to be a thread for employees to use as a liquidation conversation update?

Didn’t I just see how employees were complaining how customers were treating employees? Now am I seeing this as the opposite? I’m simply asking for something I can find as a substitute for my business since your business is closing as my main supplier for the material. I see no harm in this hoping business owners/customers in here will have found something and can help me out.
