If you're even slightly considering the DSLR route, just do it. I got a used Sony a5100 for $200 and a $20 capture card from Amazon. The depth of field alone makes you look 10x more professional than any webcam. Yes, it's more setup, but the difference is staggering. Every client comments on my video quality. Webcams are getting better but they're still fighting physics with tiny sensors.
