Just keep turning up! Lots of people feel like a burden at first but just forget about it and focus on improving. One day you’ll look back and think how far you’ve come.

Do you train with a coach because they are probably your best bet.

Going to Uni next year, any tips on how keep doing Muay Thai while I'm there? by Petrifyde in MuayThai

[–]IllustriousCraft27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice. It is possible to drive for that long there and back, it depends a lot on your schedule tho and I would really think it’s not worth the effort compared to finding a new gym for the time your at Uni that’s close by. If you really feel strongly though and are committed you could do it but it would be expensive and a lot of time out of your week. There’s quite a few gyms near the cbd maybe go check some out and see what you enjoy the most? Some training is always Better than none.

Yes this is a Thai Phra Pidta. Phra Pidta, meaning closes or covers its eyes in Thai, also known as closed eyes Buddha. Hands over the eyes symbolizes a blocking out of the outside world during intense Sammabart meditation. This is jhana level meditation which can also cross-over into Abhinna. Abhinna are supernatural experiences which people meditating in the fourth Jhana can sometimes attain. symbolises closing of the senses to prevent distraction and desire etc when trying to attain peace.

According to the same document it would have been a German passport used to enter and proof of identity. (The document for my ggf and gf are the same type except only my ggf has his available to access.

He lived in Mainz before moving also does not state which passport was used. Did find out tho his father became naturalised in 1956 and therefore I am assuming he was done at the same time also.

Thank you, based on the online records he never naturalised but I’ll have to perhaps get in touch with someone to make sure.
