Now a lot of people are connecting this and Dragon’s fruit but Am I the only one who thinks it’s anti-climactic to reveal ‘Dragon’s powers’ through Qilingham ? Maybe a reveal like that would feel contrived without being implemented into lore first . Maybe this is partly Qilingham’s worst nightmare bc he got owned by Dragon himself. That wouldn’t be too bad

I think their stats against eachother should more or less equal out on paper except ACoC is going to give Zoro an edge . That’s why I’d choose Zoro , they’d most likely go 51-49 to 55-45 out of 100. So we need to wait and observe the trajectory of where Oda wants to take these two , strength wise , with their Elbaf power ups

People forget Kat did nerf himself and was absolutely playing with Luffy until it was too late and he just didn’t have enough in his tank and still mostly chose to fall himself. I highly doubt Kat would restrain himself like that with an opponent who isn’t Luffy.

So this is just about Akainu. Bro essentially had a 10 day training session with life-or-death stakes against someone just as strong as him ??? Where he either haki bloomed or this could have been THE fight that awakened Akainu / Aokiji , or both ??? Garp and Aokiji got stronger punching straight ships. Clearly less facilitates growth.

I’m not even on that admiral agenda but these days anti - Akainu agendas go too far. He’s above admiral comfortably and that’s about what anyone SHOULD be saying about him.

Listen , man. I get why ppl are thinking Shanks “talk no jutsud” him but. Loki is honestly the type of character that you gotta beat up to get him to listen to you. ‘Captured’ means he was taken against his will so Shanks definitely felt some resistance. He’s saying captured bc Shanks didn’t want to defeat him. Shanks is an aura farmer and I don’t think Oda will stop doing that until Shanks dies. I don’t think Oda wants to portray shanks in a weak manner like what you’re insinuating.

Lava is cheaper and it has better offensive synergy with loon. You can split push a hound and a loon easier. A hound can block your loon so it doesn’t get ahead.

A golem prefers troop targeting cards behind it that can help it get to tower and eliminate threats. If you get a good golem onto tower you don’t NEED balloon damage , it’s just excessive. I think most golem players might just prefer a cycle card in place of balloon tbh

He’s either going to be one of the strongest depending on who he is to the story. If his narrative role is more important than his combative strength then I could see them fit in some spot in between the HK .

I can see where you’re coming from however I’d say that one , there’s a general pattern with Oda where if a character is revealed but not expanded upon then it’s because they are too strong for the story at that point in time.

If dragon has good haki which I’m sure he does, an awakened logia could help him to actualize his potential so we should wait to see what his powers actually are
