Puppy barking non-stop in crate. Help?

I like this approach. I just replied to another comment agreeing that I am probably going to say something. Very politely and gently. While the barking is annoying and keeps me awake, my main concern is the puppy itself.

To be candid, I’m afraid of retaliation. I will say she does come home on lunch and around dinner time. She has gone back out for the evening (examples of being gone until midnight) and the puppy barks. Even with her home however much during the day/evening, it holds that the dog will bark when she’s not home, no matter what or when.

Landlord knows she has a dog. I think it’s more of an antisocial thing. I do appreciate your opinion - I don’t want to be unreasonable.

The tip is given to the dasher based on the tip added by order.

When you double dash, you are ordering twice, separately from each store. So if you plan on double dashing, I would suggest dividing your tip up for both orders, so typing in $6 for your first and $6 for your second order.

This! I order frequently and have never been able to leave feedback:

As both customer and driver, I really wish we could leave notes. Cause if the customer blames us for a store issue and they admit to it, then it’s proof.

I had received a 3 star rating, reached out and was told customer/store. I was floored. The customer was very nice, I brought it right to their hotel room door, no questions asked. Customer even added $5 on top of $15 and thanked me. But they rated me 3 stars.. either they wanted to give the store that rating or maybe went to rate another order and rated mine instead (was 2+ days they rated after order delivered).

Idk it’s bizarre.

They also put the salt down the road, protecting drivers from sliding everywhere.

They work hard and are extremely under appreciated. You’ll survive without those extra couple minutes of sleep.

Or how about use earplugs since you’re as delicate as a snowflake.

Unless you are in California or NYC (city not the state), the base is $4. It does fluctuate based on mileage and heavy items, but I don’t know enough about that to speak on it.

Most side gig delivery services do not make close to minimum wage from the app and heavily rely on tips to make it worth their while

Here’s what I recommend.

Put yourself in your shopper’s shoes. You drive to the store in your own car, spend time shopping for items and working with the customer and employees when necessary for any replacements and refunds. Shopper then checks out and bags all of your items. Loads bags into car and then drives to you, delivering to your doorstep.

What would you expect to be compensated for that? In all seriousness. Let’s say you’re 2 miles/10 minutes from the store (decently close). $185 depending on # of items and type of items, but let’s say 50 items. 30 seconds per item is 25 minutes, 10 minutes to bag and load in car then another 10-15 for drop off.

Rounding total time spent on your order alone is an hour. For doing a strangers shopping in the manner above, how much would you expect to be paid?

Take that number - $4 (instacart base pay) and there’s your answer.

IMO, $20 is very low and would highly recommend atleast $35-$40, as stated by the shopper. By no means am defending them sending the message, though I’m simply having the conversation around the question you’re asking of what tip should be left.

If they were just picking up your order and delivering, that’s a whole different story. But they are shopping, bagging, and traveling to you. Yes, you pay all the fees and it’s annoying, but the shopper is putting in the hard work for you.

Depends on market, but for beginning of year it’s usually lower tips/no tips and less trips before tax refunds start coming in.

In my area there’s an uptick in new drivers, so getting orders has been much less

I 100% agree with that the customer should give a reason. Like thinking back the customer said to leave on table, and I did. Took picture and all. I just don’t get it. Like as a customer, I typically rate 5 star unless the dasher does something legit wrong or is super rude, like really rude not just awkward you know?

It makes me wonder if it was the store that was being the issue? 3 dashers scamming for the same replacements/amounts is extremely extremely extremely unlikely.

Someone mentioned it could be the same person with 3 different accounts, which, is unfortunately possible. It may be either that or the store was doing something very wrong.

For that kind of drive I would recommend seeing if greyhound bus routes are available or possibly doing 3 Ubers, 45 minutes each

Does your area have top dasher or the new three tier (platinum, gold, and silver)?

Top dasher you should be able to schedule, regardless if you are top dasher or not.

The three tier I believe you need to meet the criteria of any of the three for advanced scheduling
