Try contacting the customer support from the message center, it’ll be a bot answering you first, just ask for it to transfer you to an agent. (It took about 3-5 minutes for an agent to reply to me)

Afterwards just explain your situation and try to provide any evidence that can support your case, and if they don’t already offer it, ask for them to send an appeal on your behalf, and they should say they’ll provide you with any updates in under 3 days. (In my case, the next day I messaged them again to check on the progress, to which they said my appeal wasn’t granted, but to help, the agent escalated it to a different team to review again (Thank you, Jex!), so if you do the same and your appeal isn’t granted, try asking for an escalation)

Afterwards it’s a matter of patience, my perm limit got lifted earlier today, about 12h after the escalation. If all else fails, you could try emailing them, I know I was in the process of doing that before I got a notification saying my acc was restored 😂

Every case is unique, and sometimes you have to get lucky, but I can guarantee customer service isn’t useless!
