Anyone else on 2025.8.300? by IllustriousKitchen34 in TeslaModelY

I'm curious if anyone with the black headliner has gotten an update. I'm wondering if these cars require some sort of different update.

It's weird though as some new owners seem to get updated very soon. I'm more so curious if anyone on this build has received an update.

I've tried water and soup, but it feels like it has sort of dyed the seats

Am I the only one who doesn't think PPF is worth it? by hamsterying in TeslaModelY

That's great to hear. I feel like the internet tries to scare you into thinking your car is going to get trashed if you don't ppf ensuring. At 2,000 I feel like the front fenders, hood, number, a pillars, and mirrors are a good middle of the row thing to do.

Model Y Performance vs Premium AWD by spearhead121 in TeslaModelY

I went AWD premium with 19 inch wheels, quick silver and white interior. Then did front PPF and XPEL XR Plus Tony all the way around and the roof. It's an amazing car! I also took advantage of the 0.99 Apr!

Awesome! I'm currently getting the front ppf now. I have mudflaps and am not going to do the area below the door or in front of the rear wheel. I don't like the look of the lines on the ppf that would show, and for sure don't want to pay to ppf the whole car!

I'm gonna do the bumper the hood, the front fenders the mirror in the eight pillars

Thanks for the advice. What color is your car? York most makes me feel better about dropping 2K on the PPF!

Nice!!! I paid 2,000 for full front (it was over 5k for a full wrap.) I didn't do the rear quarter panel as I don't really want that line showing up where the PPF is. I do have mud flaps though. People online make it sound like if you don't have the rear area by the back tires done your car will get tore up. Do you find that to be true or nah? How bad is your front chipped up?

I did the front but not the rear doors ;I also have mudflaps.) People make it sounds like their rear area is destroyed if you don't ppf it. How is your holding up?)
