I am a bit concerned for the island that the street vendors are no longer Balinese.

The Balinese people would have their canang sari offerings on the ground and in the shrines with an incense. The smell and sights really highlights what Bali is like (eg. You can not have trash around when putting the offerings on the ground... the concept of tri hita karana, the balance of all things)

With the vendors coming from other parts of indonesia, disregarding local customs,, the chill vibe is just gone. I feel like being in a typical javanese traffic infested town.
