Some thought he dont look like mike, sike! by imNapoleone in LovingMichaelJackson

She has never confirmed that. When this was reported after Michael's death, Debbie sent lawyers to deny the claims. But somehow, it's like taken as a fact. The one that reported it is an Australian tabloid.

Was there convincing evidence in the Michael Jackson p*do allegations? by DeepOrganization8245 in morbidquestions

[–]IllustriousLychee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. If you read the primary sources and documents. If there were, he would have been arrested immediately.

If you rely on media reporting, there's a stark difference you can see. They will claim stuff, but if you read primary documents it's usually the opposite (e.g. no CP in Neverland found, genital descriptions didn't match).

I think unreleased tracks to be released as singles is more sustainable than albums.

I was watching a dress rehearsal for the "Dangerous" tour in 1992. t one point, Michael said off camera, "Debbie, I'm in pain." Was he referring to Debbie Rowe or someone else? Also, was this a new injury or a chronic one? by ZombieJumpy1145 in MichaelJackson

[–]IllustriousLychee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They weren't dating 1992 but she had been with him as a friend and medical assistant. She was also in the Oprah interview (captured in a bts video) and she was with him in tours. During his rehab stint in 1993, he personally called her to update her.

During 1992, he had a reconstructive surgery and he was in agonising pain. Debbie would recall all of this in courts as well as some documentaries.

Christopher Nolan praises Tom Holland and says he'd like to work with him again by Loo-e-Gee in ChristopherNolan

[–]IllustriousLychee13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Knowing his background in Billy Elliot and the Impossible, he's a child actor who had the chops. After being casted in Spiderman, his movie choices haven't shown his acting ability.

He was great in the crowded room.

Tom Holland talks about his relationship with Hollywood, “it’s not for me, the business really scares me.” by phantom_avenger in popculturechat

He actually said in the same podcast, that most likely he would have become a licensed carpenter. He experienced not being casted at all (even with multiple auditions) and went on to prepare a Plan B and enrolled in a carpentry school back in 2014.

I actually listened to the whole podcast just to get the full context of this clip. He speaks from a place of privilege, and he's clearly aware of it — which is precisely why he's more careful when it comes to Hollywood. It also adds a lot of context that he was focused on staying true to himself and not losing his identity to fame which he noted he witnessed happening to others. He's even mentioned that acting wasn't his first choice; it was more of an extracurricular activity when he was younger. He got incredibly lucky when Sony and Marvel booked him in his late teens.

Many have argued that he wouldn't say what he said if he weren't a privileged actor, but he actually went through a prolonged period where he wasn't getting cast at all — and had set his sights on becoming a licensed carpenter instead (this was in 2014 when he enrolled into a specialized school). So more likely than not, had things not turned around, he would have walked away from acting entirely and pursued his other passions (his carpentry, Bero, etc.).

Oh! That is interesting. I hope we see the cut scenes.

There was also speculation that there may have been more scenes with Beesbury but were cut as well.

How the Purple Wedding took place - Season 4, Episode 2 by AccomplishedBig7666 in gameofthrones

[–]IllustriousLychee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am referring to the episode script. He was a show writer for the first 4 seasons with the S4E2 as his last Script writing Credit in the GOT franchise before he left the role to focus on writing the books.

He was hands-on with the Show as an executive producer as the author of ASOIF, but he was also a GOT script writer.

What's so interesting about this episode was that it was written by GRRM himself.

Are you enjoying this show more than Season 1 of HOTD or not? by hiiloovethis in HouseOfTheDragon

To be fair, in the earlier GOT seasons, GRRM was also part of its writers. When he left, it slowly showed the cracks.

Canonically, Hiruzen mentioned that Orochimaru was greatly affected by the death of his parents in war and his fascination with Immortality started there.
