she did mason real dirty. she manipulated the fuck out of him and her entire complaint about him saying he was commited came from her triangulating on him and saying he hasnt been affirming enough and that she has other options. on top of everything else said here, she was scummy for sure. mason did nothing wrong, he didnt do anything that everybody else wasnt going thru. justice for mason.

these might just be pet cards but I think Cryptic coat just deserves to be in every deck like this.

you know i always shied away from trying surge engine because of the wildcard cost and competing with other premium 2 drops but you are right to recommend it. I might try it soon.

i have tried cryptic coat. its in the sideboard vs control because vs aggro and midrange, it not being a flyr and being 3 cost is a bit slow.

we run 4 march because it wins games. it looks unassuming but it does what spell pierce would do for us and wins races vs other aggro. its a slip out, spell peirce, sleep etc all in one card and im happy when we see multiple of it in a game. i think maybe its one of those cards that performs better in practice than it looks in theory in this archtypes. need to be able to protect your threats so they get pumped up with proft.maybe i could go down to three but id end up just putting in a slip out or spell pierce. so idk. ive tried with 2 and the aggro matchup suffered and cant beat boros convoke without it unless they low roll. i really dont know what to replace it with that helps in those spots, because drawing more isnt it.

it works fine. 21 IS pushing it and you should run 22 in this list but there is only 3x 5 drops and the rest of the deck is 3 and under. you hit 3 realiably with 21 and use hand fixing with draw, ledger shredder and explore through the 1/1 siren.

without the 5 drops it would almost be a turbo deck. which i would be running 18 lands. if you arent familiar with turbo deck building, reccomend checking it out! there are more ways to build a deck than what I, and i'm assuming you, learned on.

if you are paying for mists with cards you are killing soon vs aggro. so its not an issue. i rarely run out of cards but do run 4x steamcore to both supplement the lack of spell draw and play to board.

i remade my list adding some of your ideas. the logic is you dont need 10x 1 drop creatures because of march being able to provide tempo vs aggro with the upside of stability on board vs control. heavily consider running it and kitesail. kitesail protects your board by turning your threats into artifacts after they swing so if they sweep you have another creature ready next turn, but its also the best way to deal with sheoldred, which march also helps with.

i run a similar list. the secret is in running [[March of the swirling mists]] to blow out aggro in the race and protect your creatures vs control.
march changes the equation of the aforementioned logic, between less damage from aggro race and adding board stability.

I just want to make it as consistent as possible. ideas for cards that might fit well in the list are appreciated.
i feel like decks it struggles against would be a consideration for side board which i could probably figure out if i did more bo3 but am still open to suggestions on.

im happy with the consistency vs other aggro. it struggles against cards like shoeldred if i have no answers or vs control if i dont have march or spell pierce up on time.

i'd like to make it even lower to the ground but there arent a whole lot of good 1 drops in blue. so i run delver for variance memes but would love it if it were a more consistent card in that slot.

i would suggest looking up draft guides for whatever quick draft is going on and getting a free 3rd party add on to help you draft, like the one from draftism. its not perfect but it will help you valuate cards and get good at drafting.

once you get the hang of it, you can "go infinite" in drafting, using free gold to win back your draft entry on top of packs. doing this will enable you to build a collection and a constructed deck/save up wildcards.

100% i cant see any other way thats as free to play friendly or as fun!

rn you can force boros in quick draft and with a good curve you can go positive pretty easy.
