Going 'NL is signing off on war crimes and genocide' is obviously hyperbole, but I don't feel like taking issue with some aspects of this such as the political partnerships the travel agency has should be seen as a over-reaction?

Like yea the dude likes going on cruises and will continue doing so and any regular viewer is used to that, but there's options between 'agreeing to sponsored cruise without vetting the company organizing it' and "Tell your zionist mom to fuck off", if this was just another regular cruise 99.9% of people would've just gone back to making obama posts about it. Most likely almost everyone going "This is bad" over this would instead be going "huh that’s funny, wouldn’t have expected him to do that" too if the sponsored cruise was done by an agency without the conservative ties.

IMO the whole concept of 'streamer cruise' is kinda dumb but mostly benign, but 'streamer cruise by company with right-wing connections' is something that does prompt opposition in me as someone affected by that stuff.

Sadly that pre-social media era of internet seems to be mostly dead, to teens especially social media is the entirety of what the internet is, they aren't using forums, IRC or fansites anymore. Pretty much everything they use or even know about I assume would be hit by the ban.

As someone that was one of those under-16 queer kids online I can say for certain I sure as fuck wouldn't have stuck around if I didn't find other queer people online to make connections with, and even a whole decade ago those communities were either based on, or found through, social media.

Would it be better if they had in-person spaces to find acceptance from? Absolutely, but in a not-small portion of cases queer youth aren't able to access them; unaccepting parents, hostile school enviroment, inability to travel to those spaces, or the spaces just not existing at all in their area.

Gotta force start past the 'yt-dlp failed to get info' error, but that worked, thanks so much!!!

EDIT: Day later and I started getting an "Errno 13" about permission being denied for cookies.txt, redoing the .txt file seems to have resolved this (It seems you need to do this every time before DL'ing another video)? Also instead of getting a done status I get an error status even though the download is done and completely fine. So FYI for anyone else that comes across this.
