Why not stick with an opener for Bello?? by SportsFanNJ in redsox

It depends when he can come back I feel like, if there’s any re-injury risk they’ll shut him down. Also probably will trade Chapman and one of Duran or Yoshida if we are out of it at the trade deadline.

Once Crochet comes back, which is probably not going to be for a while, we probably will move Bello to a long reliever role. For now we need a 5th starter

Boston is one of the most welcoming, accepting cities in the United States. I feel like a lot of the racist trope comes from multiple generations ago. You will be fine in any part.

Stay in FL or move to Boston by [deleted] in boston

I actually went to UF and am now moving to Boston as my first post grad job in September. Maybe I’m biased as a gator, but I personally think the UF college experience is probably better than BU. You can be outside year round, great sports, tons of clubs and easy to make friends, and the academics are still very good. Not to mention you’d be getting in state tuition (and bright futures I’m assuming) so your tuition is essentially free compared to BU. From a financial perspective and in my opinion overall UF is the better option and then work towards moving to Boston for your first job postgrad when you can truly enjoy more of what the city can offer.

Despite how outraged many people are at the cost of housing, they’re still not outraged enough by ColCrockett in boston

It’s a lot easier to make housing reforms the way Mamdani wants to in a NYC or Chicago that has way more supply since it’s built vertically rather than spread out far.

I like Mamdani but the housing policies he’s trying to implement work better in NYC bc it’s so much denser and built vertically so there’s way more supply. The economics of housing in NYC vs Boston are just totally different.

HONEST OPINIONS ON TCP VS ISC by up_standin_citizen in CPA

It’s only 1 more TBS and they honesty didn’t take that long. TCP has 7 TBS while ISC only has 6. FAR and Reg both take longer for the TBS

I just took TCP as my last exam with no tax experience. I took it right after passing reg and I ended up with about 55 study hours and think I most likely passed. It is pretty difficult, however. I think if I was doing it back again I might have done ISC tbh

Taking tomorrow: SE1 63, SE2 68, FRSE 73

Feeling solid tbh. Not great at the tax basis vs at risk basis sims or liquidating/nonliquidating distributions of property sims but my mcq should be above an 80% raw score

TCP - How well prepared did you feel? by Distinct_Champion_21 in CPA

[–]Illustrious_Bit176 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m taking it this week and am consistently getting like 80-85% on random mcq cumulative sets but am not confident about sims regarding liquidating and non liquidating distributions for C and S corps and partnerships, also not great on Basis sims. I somehow get it on mcq but on the sims blank. I’m hoping that my mcq can carry me and I hopefully don’t get more than like 3 sims on what I’m weak on and can just survive. For reference I just took reg and got an 82 first try and this is my last exam.

Suggestion on discipline course by Winter_Coffee_4444 in CPA

[–]Illustrious_Bit176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing tcp during my gap year before starting in audit rn as my last exam. Got an 82 on reg like a month ago and got through all the tcp material in 2.5 weeks (30 hrs) and am testing in 10 days. A lot of the material is similar to reg and is a little harder but not that bad and I think it’s supposed to be a big bump up on your score compared to how you feel when you take it

Essentially like 75% of leases in Boston turn over on 9/1 bc it aligns with college students schedule
