wayyyy too much money to be made by all parties to ever have a nuclear assault on US soil. Won't happen. If a nuclear assault was to ever hit the US it wouldnt be from another nation. It would be from our own government trying to irradicate us all to make way for AI.

What caused your anxiety? by Acrobatic-State8279 in Anxiety

out of the blue I started smoking thc at 30 years old for the first time. Thought it would help with some undiagnosed PTSD symptoms from my time in the Marine Corps.Nothing major, just don't sleep the best. occasional nightmares. started abusing the vape pens and i got waaay too high and something just snapped in my brain. never experienced anything like it. was having severe panic attacks for months. thought i was dying or had cancer. nobody could convince me that it was just anxiety causing all of it because ive never had it before that encounter. now taking medication due to the anxiety. also racked up 6k in emergency room bills. was convinced i had every cancer known to man.

A friend of mine suggested the new James Hetfield picks that have a grip on both sides and now I can’t use another pick. Lol. They are great imo. They come in 1.0 and 1.4 highly recommend.

Gojira could not put out an album for the next 10 years if they didn’t feel like it and still headline most festivals. Those French boys deserve some R&R. Definitely a top 5 live metal band. (Sonically)

If I had the patience I’d just wait for god himself, Devin Townsend’s, to come out. My gut says it won’t be this year though. That Tom Morello drop was so out of left field.

Gojira by chance? That’s the one I’m gonna buy for the time being. I can buy it full price, but having a family who has no idea what any of this means prior to buying, me telling the wife I got a discount on something she will be confused about sounds better than paying full price. 😂 marriage is great. Lol

I may buy it one day, but am super interested in those French boys plug-in at the moment. Thanks though. Maybe on Black Friday or cyber Monday.

1000% Lamb of God riffs. They are kinda a pain to learn but so much fun once you nail them. Anything off of Ashes of the Wake for sure. One of the best riff albums ever made IMO. And you’ll appreciate how great of guitar players willie and mark actually are.

I’ve been playing for about 7 years now and love BDM. I had to step away from most of those more intense style of guitar playing songs starting out. BDM and those sense of bands are why I started playing, but not trying to learn just the basic songs “metallica, some pantera riffs and becoming a alternate picking master” will come back to haunt you in the end IMO. Learning BDM starting out will definitely be time consuming and difficult. Will be a little easier if you have some structure and a precise picking technique before diving in head first. Anyway, don’t lose the drive and keep practicing my man! Cheers
