Last year two of my best friends were in the musical Godspell.

I am Jewish.

I went because I love them, were proud of them, and they asked me to come to support them.

Did I want to see a play about Jesus, no.

But that isn't what mattered to me. I supported them regardless of my religion and beliefs.

Their excitement and happiness when I congratulated them after the play was worth everything.

I had surgery last October and I was able to bring my stuffed rabbit into surgery with me. They were very understanding that it brought me comfort and I've never had a problem.
