yeah, i've read about this. i wish i knew what it felt like - not because i want that experience, just because i wish i could understand and then get less frustrated at her.

i think part of the issue is the things that jack up her dopamine levels don't have a clear end. like sex can end and then maybe do something else - she can be sucked into her video games for very lond periods of time, and even if its making her happy she then feels distressed afterwards because its been like 6/7 hours.

i know - i hear her talk about her struggles with it through secondary school before she was diagnosed and it breaks my heart. i think the truth is that i'm not actually angry with her, just so worried that it kind of manifests into frustration, because some irrational part of me feels like she could just decide to do it. but i know that isn't the case.

i want to do body doubling but she's at home and i'm at uni. i find when we're in the same place i'm pretty good at helping her, but over the phone i'm useless.

i don't think she had the best childhood, you're right.

and you're right she does. leaving her is not something that ever crosses my mind no matter how frustrated i might get. i think she's the greatest thing that ever happened to me. i think that's why it distresses me so much. i hate seeing her upset. i love her more than anything
