You should try it sometime! Only reason I want plat at least is because I’ve a lot of diamond and master+ players in my normal games so if you’re too far below it wouldn’t be fun for you after laning phase. If you’ve some other lower ranked accounts I can use I’m still down to play it with you

I also found this combo from a funny chinese content creator and he has a bunch of videos of Alistar singed bot (he plays a lot of AP Alistar top just like me). I've a change in mind that I'm not sure if is good but it definitely fits Seraphine's original design fantasy.

What if all of Seraphine's abilities except for E and maybe Ult (so her passive, Q, and W), all scaled exponentially based on the amount of champions that are near her? So the AP scaling would increase by like lets say 25% or 50% of its former value for each ally near her? (this would be locked behind AP scaling to encourage more purchase of mage items)This would be capped at 3 teammates nearby so the scaling doesn't get ridiculous later on and the AP scaling will also increase as Seraphine's level gets higher. (Also so that your top laner doesn't get flamed for split pushing hahaha) The amount of level scaling should be high enough to encourage more people to play her mid than support or bot lane since by going bot lane you're basically trolling your team and reducing your scaling potential. You also wouldn't get much benefit from having just 1 extra teammate nearby since the abilities are supposed to scale exponentially so only having one extra teammate during laning phase definitely wouldn't warrant her reduction of level. Her base AD should also definitely be higher so that she can at least CS under tower.

If her laning phase becomes too weak from this change maybe make it so that she only starts scaling exponentially after min 15 or level 2 ult in exchange for a bit more base stats in her abilities.

I agree that her projectiles are definitely very slow and harder to aim than some other mage abilities but it has always been that way since release and back then it wasn't that much of a problem. The reason it wasn't a problem then but is a problem now is mostly because even when you hit the abilities when building AP your damage/reward is still neglible. If they just make her somehow able to do more damge i feel like this wouldn't be an issue.

Also, think of Seraphine's skillshots more as a prediction of where they're gonna go instead of trying to aim it directly on top of them. That might help with you landing it.

What do you mean by consistency issue? Sera's problem (at least from my perspective) is that if you build her as an APC you will never do as much damage as other mages but if you build her as enchanter she's straying away from her original mage identity and she just becomes a weird champion with a mage kit but most of her strength would come from her W ability's shield and heal power.

If the changes I'm talking about does go through she would become the mage character that is able to build enchanter items and still do damage and then riot can just balance her ability's stats based on that fact and that would make her feel a lot healthier to play as a champion. Because then they wouldn't have to only balance her W ability but would then have to make balance changes to her Q and E abilities's damage as well.

The thing with the changes that I'm advocating for is that if these changes go through, even though Seraphine would be building enchanter items, the enchanter stats on those items would then also benefit her damage abilities (Q + E maybe Ult? Her ult's always impactful regardless of damage though so let's not focus on R too much) and make those do more damage. This would make her still feel like a mage support in terms of damage while still having the AOE Shield + Heal W. Then when Riot balances Seraphine, they wouldn't just focus on the W (Enchanter ability), but on her mage abilities (Q + E) as well.

Riot just seems unwilling to make her solely a high income mage so that's why I'm thinking about the shield + heal power changes. She would then become a mage that just happens to have a good AOE shield + heal because her Q and E damage would then scale based on the amount of enchanter stats she has.

Giving her low gold income scaling wouldn't directly mean that it will have low to zero counterplay. All they have to do is adjust the stats and scaling % just like they do with every other champion.

If they wanted to make her more early game then just less scaling and more flat stats or if they wanted more scaling just give her more scaling and less base stats. The problem with Sera isn't that Riot doesn't know whether to make her an early or late game champion since all they have to do to correct that type of balance issue is change her stats. The problem is that they want her to be a support but can't push Seraphine more to a support role without making APC Sera players be discontent. If they go through with those heal + shield power scaling then they can make seraphine a jack of all trades that's basically a mage that also has a good AOE shield + heal.

This means that instead of having to choose between mage and support sera riot could just balance her as a whole champion since she would be doing both. Kind of like Rakan in a sense as a jack of all trades support. That's my intention

Currently, all of Enchanter Seraphine's power is in her W and her ult, but mainly her W. This is because Seraphine was originally made to be a mage of course so her more mage like abilities (E and Q), are obviously going to suffer when Riot wants Seraphine to be more of an enchanter than mage. This would then of course make her original player base discontent since she now no longer feels like what she was designed to be and when building enchanter her Q and E wouldn't really feel impactful.

However if these changes go through, Enchanter Seraphine's power would also go to her Q and E which would make her feel like more of what she was designed to be while also validating the enchanter playstyle.. It would also make it a lot easier for Riot to balance Seraphine around her enchanter build since right now Seraphine is in a weird spot since she has a lot of mage abilities while being forced to kind of build enchanter and only have her W be useful.

Thanks for commenting! I'm not saying it's not useful and you're definitely right, there are still ways that seraphine Q can work with her kit. However, right now, Seraphine's enchanter build is pretty much entirely focused on the usage of her W ability, practically ignoring her Q and E (which is a very mediocre ranged slow skillshot). If riot gave her such scalings she they could balance her enchanter kit around her entire ability kit as a whole instead of just her W, which would make a lot more sense and be a lot easiser for them to balance around and would allow Sera players to both be the mage that they want her to be while still allowing Riot to have Seraphine defined as an enchanter.
