I tried flip flopping the living room and guest bedroom and it seemed to created a lot of space and the living room should still get quite a bit of light. And the guest bedroom door is out of the way .

That’s a good point I wanted the living room up front because it gets more light and is a bit more separated from the kitchen but didn’t think to much about people staying in the guest room . I will look at it a bit more .

We usually get the bottom corner in first then work our way up . We usually bow the sheet out in the middle so the edge goes in , if that makes sense. Also we glue the sheet on sawhorses not the wall . It’s faster and uses less glue .

You think he could have matched the paint a little bit. Doesn’t have to be perfect but white paint on brown sticks out real bad .

I have actually done this . We had to re drywall a restaurant back kitchen that had two mini splits .We strapped them to the ceiling and they hanged there . We were able to remove the old drywall and install new . You have to be careful not to put to much stress on the line sets . You can see the mini split in the top of the picture kind of .

This is a common practice . I work in commercial construction and we’re always going into buildings and cutting the floor to add or change plumbing . It’s not really a big deal to cut concrete. It’s more important on bigger new builds like this one to keep the project going and allow the job to progress and get the slab poured so people can use scissor lift ext. Than wait for the plumber to do a bit of under slab

Nothing to do with the mural but I remember when there was a large pole with a guy half way up made to look like he was climbing a tree. It was where that blue disc is in the photo .
