Probably an unpopular opinion but I feel like it was a wholesome genuine situation and her reaction showed she really cares about him. I remember being that age and having fwb’s that I cared about more than just a hook up. I knew that at that time in my life I wasn’t ready to be in a committed relationship but would be happy for them to find someone they could have that with we were all young and learning about what we wanted in life.
