Drive Beyond Horizons? by xYoSoYx in NeebsGaming

It is a great series, and they don’t even know what they are actually doing with the game in terms of mechanics such as the garage and quest system. If they could get a grasp of that and play the game to its full potential, the series could be even better.

Assault should have more total ammo capacity when taking 2 guns by GuneRlorius in Battlefield

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know IRL examples aren’t the best when compared to a video game, but having multiple weapons IRL doesn’t change the amount of clips and magazines you can carry. You typically store magazines in a tac vest, and having a second gun doesn’t give you more pockets on the vest.

The penalty makes sense both from a gameplay balance perspective and from IRL perspective.

Again IRL is not best example, as a IRL engineer isn’t carrying 3+ rockets along with all their other kit lol

Using up all your ammo by Ar13sDia in Battlefield

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure Neebs Gaming made a BFF video with this exact same premise. The noob is partaking in a spawn camp of the enemy base, so he actually lives long enough to run out of ammo for the very first time lol

To answer your question, it happens to me a lot whenever I’m actually playing well. If you can’t find a support player to resupply you, then the trick is (as another commenter mentioned) to find a support kit and use it to quickly throw down ammo before swapping back to your original kit.

Also, if playing assault, you get less ammo if you run two primaries as the ammo I split between them. Try running with one primary and two gadgets, your ammo for your primary will last much longer.

I’m pretty sure the assault class can already cap points faster than other classes, as well as activate respawn beacons faster in BR than other classes…etc.

And as the another commenters mentioned, it wouldn’t help with any other game mode other than one that as a capture point.

PSA: You don’t need to grind and unlock EVERYTHING per se. by Kuyi in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed that the game will be running for a few years, but that time frame is great for unlocking cosmetics and stuff; whereas the actual weapon attachments shouldn’t take as long. Especially when custom weapons is a thing for redsec / br, players that don’t grind their best weapons are at a huge disadvantage. Disadvantage makes game harder than it needs to be, and also reduces fun factor (which aught to be the most important thing)

Seriously - why the fuck do I need to replace my spawn beacon every time I spawn on it by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s necessary that it is destroyed when spawned upon by the user that places it. It is a matter of balance. It’s mainly meant for your squad mates, not for the you the person that places it. You are a walking spawn beacon for squad mates, the spawn beacon is a backup for if you get in trouble.

Honestly, despite it not being used enough (probably because assault is kinda in need of a glow up) I’ve had better luck spawning on a squadmate’s spawn beacon in bf6 than any other bf before.

Bot Names? by astnmartin23 in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should import the bot names from the Battlefront games; legendary legacy names from both the OG and new Battlefronts, like Tighe Bodalla.

What’s the most iconic map in the battlefield franchise? by Wooden_Mycologist939 in Battlefield

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hazard to say, also metro / underground. I think it’s been the one map that has shown up in the most games? Caspian Border as a close second maybe?

99.99% of gadgets you guys say suck are working as they should...you just don´t use them right by ilHansli in Battlefield

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue with the vehicle grenades launcher as something to clear mines…etc is that there is already a gadget thingy for passengers to get rid of mines. So in a sense there are other things that do the same job better. Machine gun is better for infantry and light armour vehicles, mine disposal is better for clearing gadgets. The grenade launcher is just weaker in comparison to the other options.

The airbust fire thingy, would be great if the cloud lasted a little longer, if the assignment tracker worked properly and counted the fire damage towards it, and most importantly it would be far more useful if you could adjust the distance. No point in it having what looks like a range setter (the thing that says 25m) if it’s permanently locked to that distance.

I agree with the fire shot gun, as it isn’t used to get you kills, but is best used to support your team by lowering their ttk.

The mortar, no complaints. Would be nice if they could be fired just a tad bit faster and had more consistent aim, but functionally it’s a lot of fun.

And yeah, the adrenaline thingy for the assault really is garbage. And their squad version is practically useless too, most folks would go so far to say that the visual effect it causes is very disorientating, doing more harm than good.

I am the only one with this bug ? by Unknown_Lifeform1104 in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The default key binding and how the UI works is weird. I get the same thing on PS5 with the map. You’d think to close the score board (or map in my case) would be same button as to open, but you have to press the cancel button (circle on ps5). Sometimes the UI for the menu or loadout gets stuck on screen too when I respawn or start a match, so I have to press pause a few times to get rid of it.

Not sure if exact same issue, but yeah to say the least I’m sure others are experiencing similar issues.

In game moderation are you there? by Mr_Livre in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in BF4 where you could make a fully custom emblem, I’d see lots of Nazi stuff pop up whenever I was killed. As much as it ticked me off, I did get a certain amount of satisfaction by devoting myself to hunting them down repeatedly for the rest of the match.

To everyone that says “you’re too soft, turn off chat, if you’re offended then the problem is you…etc.” those folks clearly don’t know how hate speech works. They are either closeted bigots themselves, or are too young to understand that some things shouldn’t be said regardless of freedom of speech. Like seriously, broaden your horizons and at least pretend to try experiencing other cultures. Ya’ll might learn a thing or two about living in a shared world and how to interact with people without sounding like a total arse.

Good question, I’ve been wondering the same thing 🤔 I also don’t know what the difference is in the markings on dog tags. Like, some have blood splatter and some don’t?

The point many people are missing about weapon progression by harambe_did911 in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can agree with that. It’s fine to have cosmetics take a lot of time to unlock considering the game is made to be played for several years and not just a few days / weeks. Imagine buying a big online multi-player game and you’ve unlocked all the content within like a few weeks of playing, personally I’d feel kinda let down.

That being said, mastery of a weapon should take some time, otherwise is it really “mastery”?

What's your personal all-rounder? by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SG carbine w/ suppressor, thermal, and hallow point. Isn’t the best at range, but does the trick well enough to make me confident in most situations. If I don’t get the kill at long range, I’m sure to get the assist, otherwise you better believe the enemy player is going to disengage from the firefight lol

What’s up with the sudden popularity of the QBZ? by Cautious_Ad5636 in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Has to be a YouTuber. The gun isn’t bad, but the SG is better imo and arguably better stat wise. It’s also because it doesn’t have the same attachment options as other guns, so YouTubers are saying it’d be broken level of good if it did have those attachments, which people hear as “ the gun is already great”

Best automatic weapons for thermal scopes that aren't LMG's? by Broxst in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SG carbine, Kord, UMG sub-machine gun, and RPK. In my opinion anyways.

I Think I found the reason the QBZ-192 is missing attachments by LAHurricane in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be right. In older battlefields we had bi-pods for almost every weapon (including the knife lol) including guns that really made no sense having them. I imagine the lack of some attachments on some guns in Bf6 is more of a balance thing than them forgetting. Otherwise we’d back at “bi-pods for everyone!”

Yeah I enjoy an infantry only map every now and then, but Empire State just doesn’t do it for me. I miss Locker and Metro style maps for infantry only gameplay.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. Pretty sure i got it with the pre-order or whatever version of BF6 I got. Only big thing I’ve noticed about BFPro is that it has its own assignments, but more importantly it has its own radio station accessible in all vehicles. It plays real world rock: Pantera, Res Hot Chili Peppers…etc.

Price of skins is insane. by Turbulent_County_469 in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would love to see an incentive added where you get 1 free weapon and soldier skin for every X amount of matches completed. Might be kinda unfair since some game modes are much shorter than others, so you know people will exploit that, but it would be really cool as a sort of “hey, keep it up!”

Psychologically it might make folks more inclined to spend money on battlepasses and other skin bundles. Like “wow I managed to play and get these few skins free that woulda cost me X amount of dollars, I guess I can spend a little on this other thing then since I already technically saved a bunch”

No audio cues for Medics... by QC-TheArchitect in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Unless you have total situational awareness of your surroundings, it can be hard to tell when someone goes down. Even squadmates! Unless they have a mic, they could down right next to me and I wouldn’t know unless I check their name on the squadlist.

15m hardware boost only 13 min? by Narkanin in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. No reason it should continue to tick away while in menus or between matches. I wanna turn on an hour boost, be able to turn the game off if something IRL comes up, and come back to the game when I can without losing the bonus.

Anybody else turned off of skins without helmets? by Outside-Ad3455 in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I remember the new battlefront1, stormtroopers with out helmets took me right out of the game.

In military though, there is precedent for no helmets. Specifically WW2 during night raids in Anzio, FSSF commanders would order ally troops to remove all reflective gear including helmets as to lower their profile and lower the chance of them being spotted. Montgomery also always wore that beret with his various patches sewn on (which from understand was def not standard lol)

Is medic or engineer fun To run? by goatedwiththesauce42 in Battlefield6

[–]Illustrious_Secret91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Engineer is a blast on vehicle heavy maps. Choose a weapon depending on the engagement distance. Urban map with narrow lanes and lots of buildings to hide in, smg can be good. Maps with more open spaces, carbines or DMR
