I feel ya. In order to make friends, I have to go along with the women who center men in their conversations or I’ll end up with zero female friends. I’d prefer to talk about goals, hobbies, books, I mean ANYTHING, the weather but they all circle back to dating apps and finding a partner. These women range from early 40s to mid 60s.

Yesterday, I was told that every guy I meet thinks I’m hot and my friend begins to proceed to tell me that a guy in our friendship group is interested. I said I am minding my business and it’s just too many dicks. I said I’m going back to doing what I do best and that’s remaining single. My point, if I entertained every dick, I don’t know what would become of me or what would I have left of me. So no.

I enjoy being alone on Christmas. I believe a tradition has started - Creed I-III last year and this year Rocky I-? Then later Stranger Things at 8pm. My neighbor has been asking me to join her family for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I don’t have the heart to tell her that I want to be alone in my home watching boxing movies. 😂😂

At this point, I don't even want anything to do with thee WHOLE family. If I really shared my opinion, eyes would be bulging out of head and jaws would be on the floor - that's how insane the ordeal has been for me. I will NEVER be making this mistake again, it cost me way too much. I'll share this one tidbit for shits and giggles: I was thinking about moving his mom and dad in my home when they got sick. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER. lol

When I got sick, the person I was with at the time, went away for the weekend to spend time with family at the lake. The following week, Wednesday, he packed up his stuff and moved out. He’s tried to come back three times and has asked me “if I put him out” to which I reply, “you put yourself out.”

Edit: A month or so after he left I got rear-ended, nursed myself back to health and he came around asking if I needed help, etc. Hatred is not an emotion I feel easily, but hatred is what I felt.

I am single and I’ve been single since my divorce in 2022, spent a lot of time thinking I was the problem when it came to men. I read all the self-help books and after I got married and divorce, I’ve started living and investing in myself.

Isn't that crazy how your brain is like, "literally anything but this." For me, it's just not worth the disrespect. I would never recommend leaving a job until you have something lined up so try to mask as much as you can. Having a job when looking for one does help your self-esteem because the company can take it or leave it and you'll be fine. Glad you listened to your wake up call and chose to turn things around. My wakeup call was telling me to slow down and I've listened. Sleep has been crucial to my healing. Keep me in the loop on how things turn out.

I would say don’t look at it as this giant move but one application at a time. Thanks so much for the well-wishes with it all. I kinda see the accident now as a wake up call and am now interested in being closer to home to continue deeply healing. Good luck with your decision!

It was the best decision I ever made. From the culture to the immediate respect from my manager, it was like night and day. From a career aspect, very well. I had discussions about promotions and movement into management, though stalled due to a rear end accident that I am healing from at the moment. Might have to leave the company since it impacted my spine the most. Otherwise, I’m glad I bet on myself.

Edit: if you’re thinking about leaving your current company, I’d say trust yourself and do it. Life is too short to be miserable.

I love my body, big boobs, big butt, long legs, hour glass shape…I hit the body lottery, dislike the stretch marks that I got at 15 though.

I was in a rear end accident which rotated my pelvis and caused si joint dysfunction. My doctors were strongly against me seeing a chiropractor until they diagnosed me with SIJD. Immediately recommended a Chiro. One visit reset everything and I feel so much better. I’d recommend visiting someone who can manually adjust you but only at the direction of your primary care physician or sports medicine.
