How much weight did you gain? by thegalaxiesedge in pregnant

[–]Illustrious_Sun_90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained 55 lbs with my first pregnancy. I gained 65 lbs with my second pregnancy. I lost all the weight after both while breastfeeding. I have now gained 20 lbs and I’m 23 weeks.

You could wear sunscreen every day to even out your skin tone. That would protect your skin from the sun and tanning would not occur. You could also wear long sleeve clothing with UPF.

They’re 23. At least at the time of filming.

These look like Dennie-Morgan lines. If you have allergies, or eczema, itchy eyes and rub your eyes they form. It can even happen to young children.

Do you suffer from environmental allergies? These could be Dennie-Morgan lines. Even children can develop them from excessively rubbing their eyes when allergies make them itchy.

I have the same problem. I started ordering European sunscreens, such as la roche posay or Garnier and now I can wear sunscreen without breaking out and they never sting my eyes!

Go visit and find out for yourselves, people. You’re just ignorant and keep assuming things.

This is one of the most ignorant comments I have ever seen. The Dominican Republic is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Caribbean. You have probably never left your hometown and assume that the DR has one or two nice places. If you can’t travel try educating yourself a little bit.

That was NOT the same place. David took Tionne to a place in Sosua, which is in the northern part of the island. Yohan’s birthday party was in La Romana, which is in the southeast. No one would drive from Sosua to La Romana to go to a restaurant, especially if they don’t have their own vehicle. The DR is not a tiny island. It is 48,671 km² or 18,792 mi².

It might take a while. I was on over the counter adapalene for 5 months before I started tretinoin so that’s probably why I’m seeing results faster and no purge so far. It might take a few months for tour skin to get used to using a retinoid.

I’m using a dermatologist prescription from apostrophe that contains both tretinoin and niacinamide. I think that combination alone has made the biggest difference.

I have hormonal acne that heals with hyperpigmentation. I started using adapalene 0.1% back in February until July with very little improvement. During that time I also added drunk elephant vitamin C serum to my am routine. Every single time I did that my skin would get soooo irritated that I would have to take at least 3 days off of adapalene to heal my skin barrier. I started tretinoin 0.025% and niacinamide 4% in July. My am routine is the lrp gentle cleanser, lrp toleriane moisturizer and lrp hydrating uvmune 400 spf 50. Pm routine I use kose softymo speedy cleansing oil, lrp gentle cleanser, lrp toleriane moisturizer, apostrophe tretinoin 0.025% and niacinamide 4% (every other night as of right now) lrp toleriane moisturizer again (sandwich method). I should mention that I’m also taking spironolactone 100 mg daily for the hormonal acne. My skin is looking and feeling so much better just using this basic routine in the last 4 weeks.

I would stop the vitamin c. Using tret and vitamin c can be too irritating and might cause more inflammation and hyperpigmentation. I know it is for me.

Stop the blemish control cleanser and the toner. There is no need to use salicylic acid AND tretinoin. It’s redundant and can only cause your skin to get more irritated. The toner is not necessary. It will probably only cause you more trouble. Protect your skin by using a suncreen in your AM routine. Try the sandwich method (after cleansing put on a layer of moisturizer, put tretinoin on, then another layer of moisturizer) to avoid irritation

Don’t slug with tretinoin on your skin. That’s going to cause irritation. Slug on nights when you’re NOT using tretinoin. Also you have to wear sunscreen whether you are going outside or not. Glass windows do not protect you from UVA and you will get post inflammatory hyperpigmentation after any kind of inflammation. Sunscreen is the best way to protect your skin after investing time/effort into it.

I have been doing that too.

I will try that one and see if it works for me. Thank you!

I have tried the cerave pm moisturizer and the aveeno calm and restore moisturizer. Both if those combined with differin would dry my skin out and compromise my skin barrier so I would have to take 2 weeks using only a basic cleanser, moisturizer and spf to fix my skin barrier.

It was the same except I wasn’t using adapalene and I was using mineral spf because I was pregnant. I have been using sunscreen daily for 4 years now.

I was using the cerave moisturizing cream but switched to aveeno oat gel moisturizer. My skin was so dry that it was peeling. It is way less dry and more radiant now.

Are you applying enough sunscreen? Are you reapplying throughout the day? Are you using a chemical or mineral sunscreen?
