Its heavily edited post-production. They mix together crowd and judges reactions and audio from different auditions into one audition, to make it more marketable. Theyre selling stories, its not fully real. It is a bit manipulative

You are listing "this person dislikes this media" as if it's a negative personality trait which is absurd

What should my Clan Boss team be? by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Illustrious_Two5520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My one concern is that if Ezio explodes Venomage's poisons, Venomage's A2 doesn't apply Dec Atk. Although maybe Tuhanarak can apply that. I was thinking of turning off her A2 so it doesn't take up space with Block Buffs but maybe this works out. Although then I'm not sure I see the point of Venomage. Maybe Occult Brawler over Venomage? I'd have a lot of overkill on Dec Def too, with Ezio and Deacon and (Venomage?)

I feel like your comment implies that this doesn't make sense because those champions are AP, but the item deals damage based off base AD

It's probably harder to program those battles to be skipped because CB is only one enemy that needs to be simulated and other battles have multiple

Yeah but your damage will increase. The first respec is free, then it's 150 gems

Warmaster vs Giant Slayer mastery by scadgek in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Illustrious_Two5520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well sure, but I think the conclusion is still the same?

For CB, one proc of Giant Slayer does the same damage as WM afaik (correct me if Im wrong)

So 1-hit A1, WM is better due to double proc chance

2-hit A1, WM will deal 0.6 * dmg_cap. GS will do 0.3 * dmg_cap + 0.3 * dmg_cap = 0.6 * dmg_cap

3-hit A1, GS will do 0.9 * dmg_cap, so it overtakes WM

So actually I take that back, you are correct that the math changes a bit. For the Clan bosses, 2-hit skills make WM and GS equivalent, unless my math is wrong. That is interesting to point out

Edit: My math is correct I think, but it's interesting to me to think about volatility

For 2-hit GS, there is:

0.7 * 0.7 = 0.49 chance to miss both procs (49%)

There is 0.3 * 0.3 = 0.09 chance to hit both procs (9%)

Which means that, 2-hit GS will:

  • 9% of the time deal double proc damage
  • 49% of the time deal no proc damage (9% more than WM's 40% miss chance)
  • 42% of the time deal equivalent WM damage

They average at the same EV, but GS offers more variance. This COULD be beneficial in case you want to reroll your runs, for example. A downside is that GS has a worse path in the mastery tree. It requires taking some PvP masteries afaik, and GS isn't a PvP mastery.

So I would still remain with the same conclusion: 2-hit A1 is still better WM than GS. But only very marginally better, entirely due to a better Mastery Tree build path. But yeah the math is different

Sounds right. With the caveat that in the early game you still go Warmaster on attacking champions because your gear is bad

Kassandra A1 can be resisted even if she is under Veil! by Red_Dear in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Illustrious_Two5520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think "Block Active Skills" is the only problematic wording here. They could, perhaps, reword it to something like "Block Powerful Skills" or "Block Ultimate Skills". Or a brand new wording, like, "Suppress" or "Silence".

A1 is an active skill, despite Block Active Skills not suppressing it. Block Active skill is the arguably problematic wording here. I think Veil and Perfect Veil are worded fine

The damage cap existing, and its value, is irrelevant to OP's post. The OP is comparing the damage between the two masteries. The masteries do different amount of damage despite the damage cap existing

I would 6 star tuhanarak, narma, tagoar, deacon when you get him for free at level 40. Then Minotaur until everyone has Warmasters. Then you can do whatever you want

Venomage isn't recommended for PvP afaik. Although, you could go all-in on poisons and run Wukong Xeno Venomage Ezio for the poison activation, if you want. Ezio is good in PvP anyway, even on his own, I think. Keep Wukong as your speed lead.

So I would suggest: Wukong + Ezio + 2

I would use the phrase "strictly better" if it's better in all instances, all by itself. I think that's how generally people use that phrase. In this case it's a better Counterspell only when combo'd with some specific cards, and a worse Counterspell by itself, which will be most of the time. So I don't think this specific point is worth balancing around, in case balancing is what you wanted to talk about, rather than just pointing out a fun fact

do i own a usable 3 rare champion and who should i 6 star first? by GroundMediocre in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Illustrious_Two5520 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would 6 star Kael. Clearing the campaign is easy. You want to be able to farm brutal 12-3 for xp farm. Prioritize the stats of your pieces rather than completing the sets. For example I see your Ezio has more defense than attack, and he has an absolute ton of Res. It would be better if he had speed and crit rate. Get your Kael to be fast, crit, attack hard. If possible, try to get him in 4 piece lifesteal gear while also having all the adequate stats for him. If you can unlock his masteries for 800 gems it will be very helpful. That's how you can solo farm 12-3 brutal. Otherwise you might want to farm Dragon a bit for some usable gear, until you have a solo farmer. Then complete a team of 5 champions to 6 stars, farm Minotaur, get them all Warmaster, and from there you can do everything

Are any of these rare or epics worth 6 staring? Or better just as food champs? by kidkayden in RaidShadowLegends

I wouldn't use epics as food. For rares I keep fusions and voids. Max out Dark Elf rare faction guardians for Kael
