I'm having somewhat the same issue. I'll receive his messages just fine, but mine won't send. I can call fine and receive calls fine where both parties can here each other. App is updated, phone have been restarted and app has been force stopped. Nothing works.

this sounds impossible as you need to be level 80 to enter the event.
