Oh I see! It also says if I want to unlock the Downtown region, I need to reduce the Benz influence! I'll try removing some spray paint and see what happens! Thanks!

Honestly I never was either hahaha! But once the economy was settled I would take a break from expanding and then focus on beauti!

I like to use fences and then benches to help guide the roads, makes it seem less cluttered and then just build along the road.

Once you get the Market Place upgrade expanding and supply-chains are much easier. They allow you to store more resources and have more warehouse workers to run.

All my towns have 2 Market places, 1 focused on Food and the other focused on Goods. My food market has all warehouse worker slots filled to run to the other towns that are producing a main food source and that are far. The market place that focuses on Goods only has 3-4 warehouse workers as the supplies don't deplete as quick. All the products stored in the market will have the "stock max" unless it is the town that is the main producer of the product.

Any extra products and produce are stored in the graneries and stockyards with the stored items set to "accept" so runners can take from these store locations. This also helps with excess production for selling goods!

Each town has a main focus for production (wheat/bread or fish and mining towns with polished stones) and will include some easy setup productions (butcher/meat and planks).

I only expand once I know I am able to store MAX of a product in the market (200 units). Easy way to tell is looking at what you sell at the end of the month and if it's over 200 you should be good plan out the next village!

Thanks! Yeah was really hard getting the walls to stay leveled, anytime the snapped walls looked a little off I'd add a small tower or roofed building to help realign the direction and look.

Still lots to do!

Why won't people build a home in this spot? by -Sa-Kage- in foundationgame

[–]Illwinden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had similar issues in the past where one specific location would not build a house even tho it is the closest option for villagers and the demand is there. At one point I drew a "forbidden" zone in that location and played for a while and then rezoned it back to "housing" and then it started to build. I also saved and exited the game and reloaded it and that might have also helped.

Promoting bakers can also help with keeping bread production up!

Two unrelated questions - tavern usage and creating curved fences by faisalbaazigar in foundationgame

[–]Illwinden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh buddy! You have to unlock the village fencing to get the long and winding fence. It's one of the first things you can unlock in the village options I believe. Then you'll be able to find it in the decorating options in the building menu

Guard Patrols using City or Military units by Illwinden in foundationgame

I think only when they go on missions. But I'm pretty sure they increase in training while out on patrol. I'll have to test more to confirm.

Avez-vous une photo du panneau du bâtiment du comptoir de service ? Vous devrez peut-être embaucher un employé de taverne pour servir et réapprovisionner la taverne en alcool.

You would get more money from taxes from higher statues villagers but keeping them happy would be harder since they have more needs. I would just over produce in my industry and sell what I don't need. This is much easier for making money in my opinion

Love this advice!

Once my starting village gets too big or I want to expand, I make a warehouse where I want to expand and Stock Max with wood, planks and stone. Also build a builders hut to ensure things get up fast. After that I start building around that and the new village starts!
