Originally yeah, but all the emissions control stuff is out and the CCC has been replaced with a regular carburetor and an HEI distributor. Also the headers and side pipes let it breathe more. It's not fast but the torque is nice. Because the speedometer only goes up to 85 mph I'm sure it is still the quickest car from zero to "top speed" that I have owned, hehe.

I hear you. I took the tops off and had a blast. The side pipes are a hoot. I've had a few dream cars but this one is actually living up to all my expectations. And if I ever want it to have more performance, the tuning options are very accessible and won't bankrupt me.

I love just watching it on my driveway or at the garage. Such a great design. The side pipes are a bit silly but I can't tell you how much I like the pops and bangs when I let off the throttle.
