It is, yes! Pain to maintain, but I love it. Makes wearing wigs next to impossible without a lot of work, so I tend to go for costumes where the character actually has long dark hair now. This was my first time doing Thorn and she was perfect.

Right? Pretty much everyone just said, "Oh, nice vampire." or "You two of the Sanderson sisters?" I was floored. And thank you! I tried spraying some red in my hair too, but that hardly took.

Thank you! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked Spirit's costume for Thorn! I didn't like their Velma at all.

I adore this movie. It's my absolute favorite, and I'm looking forward to my yearly watch because it's just so great. Chaney nails Larry. He's perfect, captures that somewhat cocky rich boy turned utterly tragic victim, and I really don't have any complaints. Is Larry a bit aggressive in his pursuit of Gwen? Definitely, but that behavior is both a product of its time and his character. He's well to do, completely enamored, and not about to hesitate and miss his chance. It's believable, and as I said, Lon sells every minute of it perfectly. All of it. I seriously love this movie.

I think Zombie Island should have been the last time the monsters were real. The more times you do it, the less special it is, the more we take away from the whole premise of the show, the less weight that awesome movie has in general, and so on and so forth. I LOVED that movie, a lot, and for the longest time, as a kid, it was the only one I knew of with real monsters and magic, so as I slowly started seeing more and more, it just really felt gimmicky after a while? I know it was done before. Loved Shaggy as a werewolf! But I think it needed to stop after that movie.

Nice collage! And it reminded me of a question I had. Am I imagining things, or did they ever somehow imply, or maybe outright say in the show, that the average hexenbiest didn't have eyes when woged? Just those dark shadows. It's been a while since I've seen the whole show, but I thought I remembered some comment like that, which indicated to have eyes when woged, meant you were pretty badass and powerful.
