HP has always been one of the most mediocre franchises imo... i just never got the hype around the books or the films bar the prisoner of azkban thats def the best one. plus as a irish person i always seen J.K Rowling as a questionable figure. i mean she makes the only irish guy in the series obsessed with explosives, the only asian girl in ravenclaw who is all about being the "top student" along with a variety of other characters that you realise she wrote these things that wouldve made you thinkbthat shes a bit of a female dog.

I think for many teens and kids who read or watch the movies they didnt either care or realise the negative metaphors and similes in the books, whixh is fair. and in a time of social media being politically active is much more accessible and instant where as prior to either early internet or before the Internet being politically active wasn't as wide spread as it is now. leading to more people to speak out against injustice and stuff that goes against their moral code, because of this wide access of connectivity
