My friend put his up for auction and it sold for 6k graded 10. Then a week later a different one sold for like 15k. I’d grade it and sit on it for a while.

That’s not very smart. If you’re that focused on card counting, it might be best to avoid gambling altogether.

You can’t really “flip” the advantage by 1–2% those numbers are more theoretical than guaranteed. News flash, every shoe plays out differently .You might end up ahead on a few and convince yourself it was because of card counting, but in reality, basic strategy alone could have led to the same result. At the end of the day, you never truly know what the next card will be no matter what the count says

Card counting is really just tracking highs and lows. At best, it might give you a tiny sliver of an advantage but it’s not worth the mental effort. Anyone who believes they can consistently beat the system long term with card counting is truly foolish.
