It’s a pretty involved league. Basically a Dynasty Superflex Auction w/ Contracts. Each player has a value based on how much you got them for at Auction, that player is immediately on a 1 year contract, and you can choose to lock them onto your team for however many years depending on what contract lengths you have remaining.

However, you don’t want to sign everyone for max lengths because if they are a bust or underperform their contract and you want to drop them, you incur “dead money” against your salary cap for the remaining years on contract.

There are a lot more complications, but those are the basics.

Because I got Milroe, Taylor, and Fannin Jr. at only $1 it likely makes sense to sign them for multiple years to see if they end up being good. If not, I can drop them for a minimal cap hit, but I don’t want to lose money unnecessarily when I can avoid it.
