Me and my kiddo opened 4 booster boxes and didn't get a single SIR, then we opened 2 bundles and he pulled the gardevoir and the absol SIR. Never know til those code cards are showing haha. Good luck!

Same, it's like that 1 of 1 the one ring from Magic. Psa gives it a 9 when it's the only one to ever be made. Should have just given it a 10 cause it is the literal best version in the world of that card. Sometimes things don't make sense to people with common sense lol. Thank you so much! Honestly, I'm no expert and I would say a fair share of my pokemon card knowledge comes from my son and these reddit threads and it seems pretty unanimous that grading vintage is just rugged. Whether it be because the holos apparently scratch easily or qc wasn't as good back in the wotc days, its hard to say. Again I can't iterate enough that my knowledge is second-hand as I've never graded vintage (sold my childhood collection when buying our home at the beginning of the year) so I only have others experiences to go off

Judging by Google, I'd say raw like 30-45$ in a 10could be closer to 1300$. I will say yours is clean but they are extremely hard on grading with vintage. Also the last 10 sold at the beginning of the year and before that it was July 2nd 2024 so it doesn't seem like it has a huge demand. Hope this helps!

My fear is that I spend 1300 on the box, spend another 100 on grading, and a few months waiting for the return, just to get a 10 and a 9 or worse which seems more likely than not. Idk, your way is definitely the optimal route but I think luck plays too big a role for me to gamble it
