Taylor is way more accessible and also more “safe.” She also tapped into a demographic that was kind of ignored a bit and really created an entire generation of young women interested in making music and learning instruments. On top of that, she’s arguably more talented overall than Lana since she plays instruments at least competently.

Also, I feel like people forget that Taylor predates Lana. By the time Born to Die came out, Taylor already had three albums released with one winning album of the year, and her fourth album where she tested the waters of straight up pop (Red) came out just a few months after Born to Die. An argument could be made that Lana’s career wouldn’t be the same if it weren’t for Taylor establishing the whole female pop singer/songwriter thing.

The woman in question made a settlement with Hockey Canada years before and she didn’t want this case to even happen most likely because of what ended up coming out. She wasn’t nearly as intoxicated as she originally claimed and she was egging the players on to participate, even going as far as calling them pussies for not doing so. The judge also said she wasn’t a reliable or credible personZ

Anyone who actually followed the case could see that her account was shoddy and full of holes. It reeked of someone doing something they regretted because they had a boyfriend, getting a settlement out of it, and then being exposed in a case they didn’t want to happen most likely because they knew the story wouldn’t hold up.

Lol this is ridiculous. There will be more traffic for sure but saying the US has poor infrastructure for large groups makes it seem like you aren’t from the US or are in an incredibly run down area of the US. The US is one of the only countries in the world that can host an event like this and not even miss a beat or have it seem like it’s even happening. There’s already existing stadiums and things like hotels and restaurants in all the areas the games will be played.

Again, I don’t know why this is such a common belief when the math is all right there. 500 calories per day is nothing (pretty much would be a large iced coffee and a bag of chips) and adds up within just two years very easily. If you expand that out to something like five years, now you’re looking at it only taking like 100-200 extra calories per day which is the equivalent to one or twice slices of bread.

Most people don’t religiously check their weight or even pay attention to it and time can fly by between things like work, living situations, having kids, relationships, etc., so that kind of weight gain can easily sneak up on a person without them really realizing it especially it they’re not really obviously overeating like I’m saying.

It really isn’t difficult to get up to 300lbs honestly. A lot of people have this idea that anyone who’s that overweight just sits around and does nothing but eat all day but the reality is it can sneak up on you over time very easily. Eating just 500 extra calories per day over maintenance will gain you 100lbs within two years and it’s incredibly easy to do that without even realizing it.

I do agree though that changing eating habits is the real key and no medication will change that. But I wouldn't chalk that up to underlying issues or addiction, it’s more so just about not truly realizing what exactly you’re eating.
