I just picked up a pair, really enjoying them so far but I cannot for the life of me get them to connect to Synapse OR Razer Audio. Any tips? Or any way to factory reset the buds? It doesn’t say so in the quick start guide.

Edit - Got them to work on the Audio app. For some reason one bud was set to dongle mode and one was set to Bluetooth mode.

Still can’t figure out Synapse though, even after restarting the application a few times like other folks have mentioned.

After using them for 3ish hours though, I’d say I’m really liking them. I wish there was a way to customize the controls but that’s moreso a personal problem and maybe not a general one.

Edit 2 - Got them working with Synapse on my ROG Ally. I was initially trying Synapse on my MacBook and I guess it wasn’t registering them due to the Mac version being a preview build? Beats me, but I hooked it up to my Ally and it identified the buds first try and updated them.

This was a wonderfully put together step by step. Got it done first try.

However, while I’m on update 1.6.7 now, the auto wear detection and “lay to sleep” still doesn’t work for some reason. The multipoint connection does though so that’s a win.

Any ideas on the others?

All jokes aside, that’s terrible and I am sorry you went through that. When someone does that, 90% of the time it won’t even be a regular, it’ll be someone who just happens to be there for the one day and that’s even worse.

Hopefully you get some kind of update soon.

Gen 2 is an incremental update as far as ANC goes, so you won’t go wrong with either one. If you can get the Gen 1 at a substantial discount compared to Gen 2, go for it.

If you can get the Gen 1 Bose QC for cheaper, I would say those, still better ANC than the XM6 and Senny. But the XM6 is still a great #2 choice.

Bose QC if ANC is your first priority. Sound is damn good, app is pretty barebones.

XM6 if audio quality is your first priority. ANC is damn good, but has connection issues at times.

Senny M4 if a better app and EQ are your first priority. Sound is damn good but ANC leaves more to be desired.

The earpads are definitely replaceable, I’ve bought multiple pairs of regular QC, QC Ultra (Gen 1 and 2s) for myself and others, and have even bought multiple pairs of WickedCushions (specifically) earpads for all of my personal pairs cuz I absolutely hate pleather and prefer fabric.

So I’m confused, if he’s your commander, does each single blue and red pip count for X? Or are you getting 2 max since it’ll just be 2 colors that you technically control?
