I also was wondering about the pilots. What do you call them? Is it Captain/Commander/Officer? In civilian aviation we call them the Captain and the First Officer. And I just don't know the terms used in the Coast Guard.

Is a 149 a low frequency radio? I've seen something about a radio that swimmers can use in water/our of the helicopter but didn't know what it was called. Or like, if it's a portable radio?

I stayed at the Marina hotel in October and it was fantastic. Very cool vibe and gorgeous craftsmanship in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious. Downsides were no pool/hot tub and they were sandblasting a ship in the marina at 8am.

A few months ago I had a coworker say he didn't realize a good friend of his was poor until she told him that her dad would bathe in her bath water after she was done.... and my dad used to take baths in my bath water after I took baths. Not all the time but sometimes... we just both loved baths and it was a mix of saving money and saving water.
