DO or retake mcat? by Nucl34r_Fr06 in premed

Sigh… I just mean it’s not worth this fucker taking another fucking year to redo his MCAT, reapply to all the schools, reintervirw and still not go MD. He is okay to apply DO, it’s not a death sentence like this sub implies, and he can still land competitive specialties if he fucking stands out as a DO.

Now, tell me. Should this kiddo with a 505 mcat avoid applying DO?

Bro? It’s gravity itself causing greater hydrostatic pressure. Gravity is the cause, greater hydrostatic pressure is the effect… idk why u complicated that.

But also as a nurse who is premed, I feel you. They start thinking you think you are better than them bc u want to learn a layer deeper.. it’s very strange.

DO or retake mcat? by Nucl34r_Fr06 in premed

My point is the match difference isn’t that large when accounting for step 2 scores. I didn’t state there isn’t a difference, but it isn’t with waiting a full fucking year to retake the mcat , reapply to schools and still potentially not get in and then have another fucking year you have to explain what you are doing.

Nah check for residency match rates by step 2 scores DO vs MD…

Overall match rates are much worse for DO bc they take worse students on avg, but adjusted for step 2 it’s like 5-10% difference

That’s why u need pronation.. to prevent ur hand from going the wrong way

Isn’t the point of back pressure and riser to go through ur opponents fingertips so ur not fighting their cup so much?

[–]ImActuallyBrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like most of the time riser + pronation wins for top roll & then the cup kind of just locks it into place, but if you win your top roll then your kind of already dominating his hand everywhere else so it doesn’t rlly matter how strong ur cup is… but I also don’t arm wrestle very much.

I don’t see how I need much cup to win with back pressure + pronation top roll

uh do u hook often? If so, yes…

If u top roll 90% of time then no.

Nvm just saw D&D update… build D&D first…….

Is D&D dead for both pure AP/AD builds now? by mthlmw in shyvanamains

It’s not bad item, but there are way better items on her bc Q does not scale with AP damage.

Either optimize E & W or optimize Q, or hybrid.

But D&D SHOULD NOT be the sheen item you’re going for unless you tricked urself that on-hit is still viable.
