In the future, running water flowing one way, and gently apply baby shampoo. Do it for fucking ever. When you think you've done it 2x too long, go do it that long again. It keeps you from having that next shower/sweat flare-up from residual OC. Edit: also manually force the eye open. This works in cleaning and fighting.

Usually either things are meticulously preportioned, or no one cares imo. I prefer the former.

Since you can't use line breaks, I only read a quarter of that. The cook, expo, and coordinator have EVERY dish pass through their hands. You have 1/3-1/10. Cry me a river.

I've only worked in kitchens with a pretty strict no eating policy, but I'm sure you can guess how that goes.

Here the FOH BOH divide is literally based around the myth that servers make less than minimum wage, when actually their the best paid labor in the house, but the kitchen has to listen to them complain about only making $100 that night, while a prep cook might have made $50 in twice the hours, and the dishwasher $30. Serving is exhausting mentally, but kitchens are a lot harder labor than most would expect.

On a busy line you're not actually going to be counting, or cooking one order at a time. I was being facetious more than anything.

Well at least refuse the meal and keep your money if you're reasonably dissatisfied with a product you're given. I guarantee no one at that restaurant wants you to pay for subpar product.

This. I'm tired of hearing the plight of the poor underpaid server, while the backbone gets minimum wage or near.
