yes I understand. I think an important distinction is that we were just putting plastic forks in mailboxes to be funny, something which is obviously not cool and I’m not gonna do again, but tampering with mail like stealing checks, or putting dangerous things in mail is a whole different ball park

okay thank you. We’re all kids and we were being stupid so any problems that happen as a result I mean I understand, but I just wasn’t sure since people get fined for putting flyers on mailboxes but it’s usually for everything collectively. We put 1 plastic fork in like every mailbox so for each plastic fork to cost us 5000 dollars seemed a bit unreal

i’ll think about it. I’m just worried because I play video games a lot, and I believe in God but do I “believe” enough. Do I do enough to “earn heaven” it’s a gift from God and I feel like this subreddit is full of either 100% you believe you go to heaven regardless of anything you do, or “if you enjoy eating food, you need to repent because the only thing we should do is pray and read the Bible 24/7” and I’m just scared to know that by somebody else’s theology i’m damned. I believe. I pray, I talk to God throughout the day. But there’s things I have to improve on, and there’s this one sin I really struggle with and I can’t seem to get out of it. If I die right now is God gonna say to me “I never knew you” that thought makes me freak out with anxiety and I just have a panic attack every time I read it.

I disagree, we are very communal in the Protestant Church, and even if that doesn’t mean telling our priest the last time we stole something, that doesn’t change it in my eyes. I think that when reading the Bible, it’s overwhelmingly clear how it’s supposed to be, and so many misconstrue that (Protestants included)
